There has been speculation for years now. It was either going to be ED4 or a remake of the original. Of coarse the way Hollywood is, it will most likely be reamake.

I believe, since Sam Raimi is no longer going to be involved in the Spiderman films and he has made his fame and fortune, he can do whatever he wants, like Drag Me To Hell.

Sadly, I read somewhere that Bruce Campbell wouldn't be playing Ash. I hope its not true.

I.... am excited.... but very.... apprehensive. Re-makes are way dangerous, you've got a good 90% chance of fucking them up. There have been very few exceptions where a remake has been better than the original: The Fly and Casino Royale spring to mind. Scarface was a remake.
