I want to know WHY and HOW does it come about that we (or women) think there's these PLAYERS out there who are out to hurt women or whatever?

There must be a reason why these negative associations are there, I mean like when you hear people say:

"he's a player"
"he's only after one thing"
"he just goes round shagging lots of women"

I don't get it.

If they're that GOOD then WHAT'S with all the player-hate, even from women themselves?
