Mystery and Tyler fell out. Style's business and personal interest was so tied to Mystery that he created Tyler's character as the baddie in the 2nd half of The Game.

It's bias, and it's only a fictional story. Books need a character to relate to (Style), a hero (Mystery) and a villain (Tyler).
