Default If you're having girl problems, I feel bad for you son... - 10-02-2009, 08:58 AM

'Cause I got 99 problems and a bitch ain't 1

OK. This is my 99th post (fanfare). Therefore, I figured it was time to introduce myself.

Name: kowalski
Age: Depends when you are reading this
Location: Central Manchester (M1 baby yeah!)
Occupation: Philosopher King

What follows is like a little life story, so hold tight:

From as long as I can remember (about 6 years old), until the age of 22, I was a natural. I didn''t know what I was doing or how. All I knew was that girls made me feel all squishy inside, and I could get any one of them that I set my sights on.

When I was 16 one of my friends (Paul) challenged me that I couldn't get a particular girl. After I did he wanted to know what my methods were. We walked and I talked for 4 hours as I consciously cognised all that I had been doing unconsciously.

At 17 my game stuttered a little when I started going to bars. Being underage I felt like a boy among men, and had to adjust my style a little to cope with this new environment. Around this time I met a girl who I started a serious relationship with. We both took a year out of study and moved to Leeds together. I liked this girl but she tried to kill my cool. Good luck with that girlie

After recovering from the fall-out of this relationship, which was pretty massive, I got back into my stride. I moved to manchester to study philosophy. This was another great period for me. Tons of intelligent hotties, who were pretty easy by all accounts. I was having so much fun I took an extra year to complete my course.

Towards the end of my final year I started seeing a childhood friend, who is now my best friend, FB and pivot in training. We lived together for about 4 years. During this time we spent a year in Sheffield where I took an MA, also in philosophy.

So long out of the field left me with almost no game whatsoever. Although I would still get some amazing girls, these instances were well spaced out and seemingly random. I dramatically lowered my standards in order to get more regular action, this only served to dent my confidence further. I longed to remember my conversation with Paul when I was 16. I knew all the secrets were inside me, if I could just access that memory

I first discovered the community about a year ago through the C4 documentary about AFC Adam (if you've not seen it check it out it's very cool). I started googling the subject and discovered, among other things, a list of non-PUA texts that were considered relevant to the field (inclucing 'An Actor Prepares' Constantin Stanislavski, 'Improv' Keith Johnstone, 'Think Dog' John Fisher, 'Frogs Into Princes' Grinder and Bandler). I love to research things, and to start at the begining, so I sucked up all the information from these books before looking at any PUG material.

Since then I have read a lot (seriously a large amount) of PUG writings. The guys whose styles most appeal to me (in the order I discovered them) are Swinggcat, Wayne 'Juggler' Elise, Gunwitch and Johnny Soporno.

In November I was chilling in Socio Rehab (I love this bar) and started chatting to a young barrister. After about 10 minutes he leant into me and with an air of secrecy said 'Do you know who Neil Strauss is?'. That night I discovered the value of being around another PUA, ability sky-rocketed in the space of just a few hours.

This experience lit a fire under my ass and I made it my mission to gather together as many Manchester based PUA's as possible. To date I've met over 20 guys, most of whom I now consider good friends. I also recruited my close friend Devante to be my wing, and my ex-girl and FwB to be my pivot. I'm now in field at least 3 times a week practicing my skills, and loving every minute.

I'm always happy to help others whenever I can. Feel free to PM me about anything at all.

Peace

kowalski
