Improv - a continous process..? -
11-10-2009, 01:26 PM
First of all I want to say Im a big believer that if something isnt broken then dont try and fix it. However, as an accountant Im programmed to think, if something is good then how can it be better..?
Improv Thursday nights have been sooo cool and I've learned a lot. Last week was really good, there was a good vibe and the love was there. The story tag game flowed great and I had more fun cos the guys were relaxed and were just chilling out.
One thing we did more of was teasing the guy in the middle and not tag him for a bit and this happened to me which forced me to keep on talking by moving the subject on. This has always been my weak point - im crap at the small talk/chit chat.
But because it went better last week it got me thinking... How can it always be great, or - how can it be better. I think it would help me and maybe some of the other guys to have a new bit at the end of the story tag game where we have to talk for 1-2 minutes alone and struggle on to re-programme our brains to seek out new conversation and improve flow.
So I want to open this up for discussion and see what they guys think or if there are any other ideas people have.
Also I want to make it clear that I am not a free loader and I want to thank the guys that make Improv happen as it takes a lot of effort to sort out. If I can help out in anyway then let me know as I want to give back to the community too.

(P.s - If this has already been discussed then can someone redirect me to the thread.)
