I logon to the Forum, ooh i see new posts (green circle next to section)
i read 'said' new posts and feel happy inside.
I then leave the forum
I come back later and oooh Green New posts!!! BUT ALAS the same post i read the first time round is flagged up with the green circle even though its showing as read.

this happens on both my home machine and work machine.

Yeah get same thing, I double click them to ensure they all get marked as Read lol

So when you click on the forum name, to view the list of threads, are those same threads in bold, as if unread?
Does this always happen?

Green Circle showing forum has new posts -- even if i go into that subsection of the foruma nd read all the new posts when i go back to
puaforum.co.uk root i still see the green circle-- but this time when i got into the subsection all the posts show as read (not bold)

It often tells me I haven't read posts I wrote, I always thought this was the forum code being rude to me kind of like "Yo, kowalski! Did you even read that shit back before posting?"

I don't mind.

Also, recently the site 'corrects' the casing on your thread and post titles. When you capitalise a whole word or sentence it flips it so only the first character is capitalised.
