Our shit is pretty locked down, I stole some passwords by getting IS to 'help me download a business critical update' and used a Firefox password capture add-on to get at the passwords used.

You should be able to tether with your current phone, I don't have experience of Samsung (although I am waiting to buy the S2), I can tether with 3 year old £30 Sony Ericsson.

My phone will do wifi tethering, but its not great at it. I have to use this Joiku software or something. I can plug in via USB and do it on linux, or on windows if I have samsung pc studio installed (which I wont be able to do at work..)

I need to get myself a decent USB wifi dongle to recieve it.. could do with borrowing one from a mate first to try it
