I found a vbulletin on my android marketplace. I am not sure who Jaz is contracted with, I notice that reverse DNS points to Layershift Webhosting, so maybe thats where the forum is hosted.

Anyway, installing the vbulletin app give me access to the vbulletin forums, not puaforum. I guess it an additional service we would have to buy. The vbulletin app is for demo purposes and connects to vbulletins user forums.

@Jaz > can you get pricing?

It could be free.

Just add the Tapatalk plugin here and we should all be able to access the forum via the Tapatalk app perfectly. Simple to set up and easy for everyone to use.

You could also set up a script to recognise when people log into the forum with a mobile browser and link them to the Tapatalk app so they can browse easier.

Yea I looked into tapatalk.

The reasons we opted against it include:

1. You have to pay for it I think.
2. You lose a lot of the functionality, such as the Thanks system.

A mobile theme may be implemented. I like the idea of that. Watch this space.

As for advertising- that's one of our core USPs. We are ad free, and that's how its going to stay.

Well, technically it's free but costs extra for added branding features beyond standard stuff. Technically works out cheaper than vbulletin at 99/mo forever as that's a lifetime licence.

Did you do something to the forum Twisted? It's started formatting differently on my phone, not sure if that's something you've done or an automatic update I've received that's reformatting things nicer.
