Any chance we can change the security back, so that you have to be logged in to read the majority of the forum??

We are getting ourselves indexed by google. Close back up in a month or so.

Make no mistake tho, we are more secure than ever. The only people who would read stuff on here would have to be actively searching for pua related material.

We came to the decision that this would be a good idea for the future of the forum.

There is no security risk here, it just means that people don't have to create an account just to view threads. Most other forums are like this and it should not negatively affect your experience in any way. In fact, you can now link to forum threads and articles from other forums, blogs and facebook etc.

Why do you guys want that?

It doesn't bother me at all. In fact if it means people only sign up when they are serious about getting involved and posting all the better.

I'd rather have fewer members but them all be involved than more members who only signed up to window shop.

For those old boys who have been here from the start will know, I didnt want this place to be some elitist masons like club (unlike other forums).

For me the more members we have the better, this is a community to help people and should be easily accessible. I think I have proved myself as a moderator to show Im not gonna take any shit. If any idiots show up, I kick them the fuck out. Simple.

Your security is sound. I'm not entirely sure what your worried about. We use aliases here so your anonymity is sound also.

Lest we forget, we dont ask you fellas for penny for this, we have no ads. We pay the server costs which isnt cheap, check how fast this site is compared to other lair forums with ads. We'd like to feel were getting our moneys worth.

The simple fact of the matter is that requiring visitors to register to view the forums will not stop people. They just sign up anyway. Also, if a non-pua searches for PUA stuff online they will sure as hell find it. There is no point restricting ourselves in a futile attempt at limiting the public's exposure to the PUA world. They have all already read the best-selling book 'the game'.


While locking up the forum is often in the interests of current members, who are 'already in', we have to think of all of the future PUAs out there yet to find us.

I have been a member on invite-only forums in the past and I was very happy for them to stay locked up. If I hadn't got in when I did, I would had the opposite view.
