how much effort is it to establish one of those java cha room thingies for this place???

nothing too fancy, but perhaps a simple live chat-box would be cool for exchangign quick off-the-cuff tips and advice...?!

My experience with chat rooms is that you need a seriously high traffic website to sustain live chat. Think about it. We get about 20 posts per day on our forum. That's lett than one per hour. You'd be lucky to enter chat whilst there's a single other person in there.

The shoutbox is a beatiful bridge between forum and chat. I's as 'live' as chat, yet allows for people posting their messages as different points in time.
