I'm not hiding the fact that it offended me, because frankly, I thought you were being serious. But, now I know you were joking..i'm fine with that.

Many people here are trying to find that Balance. Work hard enough, we'll get there. I don't find Social Dynamics a walk in the park, like some people here do. But I'm damn determined to get this fixed and have fun doing it.

Monday 30th November: Opus

Starting these reports again. Been out of it for a few weeks because of finances, but i'm back on track now. I feel rusty but if I think rusty I will be! Anyway, a few worthy interactions:
1) Out in the smoking area, a group of two fatties and 1 HB. I started talking to them. All three were into me. I wanted to snog the HB but felt consious of the fattys there who would get jealous. I should have just done it, because I found the HB snogging someone else later in the night!
2) Spotted a girl I quite fancied, so sat down next to her and opened her. Nice interaction, lots of kino, so I wanted to take action. I led her to the bar where I got myself a water. Danced with her a bit. Her friend was lagging behind us. Made friends with the friend then just went for the Kiss on the HB. She wasn't receceptive. Tried again, again no. Tried a third time. No, then she went back to talk to her friend. I didn't like standing around like a lemon, so I scarpered off.

I did a fair few approaches throughout the night.

I'm going to try and reduce my alcohol level. I want to practice approaching in different states.

These next few weeks I'm going to approach like a motherfucker. I want to get to where I was freshers week (a few weeks ago). I would say, despite that K-close rejection, I find it a lot easier to kiss close now then I have ever done. The rest I think for me is just logistics

Weds 2nd Dec: Birdcage

So I'm trying to get back to the same level I was a few weeks back. I decided that "state" is a signpost. Yes, you do things to help you get into state, but you MUST approach whether you're in state or not.

I delibrately wanted NOT to get into state before I approached (I didn't care..) , I had only one pint and had a little bit if Vodka. Was about to Sarge practically sober!

So, I decided, Fuck the fact I haven't been out for long..after all I went out Fri, Sat and Monday..so I should be fine! My goal was simply to approach like a bastard SOBER!

I started to approach. The momentum started to build and build and build. In the end I cared little for the outcome and kept approaching! I ended up kiss closing twice, sober!! I was so pumped up I felt like I was on drugs! No one night stand because of logistics, but I think I still need to show slightly more intent.

In all, not bad for a sober night. You may say drugs are bad, but the mephedrone taught me alot about myself and what I'm capable of. I think this has definately helped my sober game. Hopefully this will lead the way to day game.

I had a chat with Shiraz, one of the PUAs out there. He agrees that the reason why I'm K-closing more is that I am getting better at reading the signs and obviously, I know what to do from there so it's a case of practice as much a possible

Drugs in general aren't bad...but this is one of the worse ones (excluding all the mental ones like heroin). I've had it a couple of times and it's fucking dirty - the only reason it's legal is that it hasn't been classified yet. In other words they have no idea what it does, despite its pharmacological similarity to MD. I'd say to stick to pills in future - I know I will be.

Anyway, on to this business of women. Sapmi, you sound like one cool cat. Hustler's mentioned you a few times in the course of our conversations and I'm looking forward to meeting you next week (if you're about). Stuff like the last report gives me a little boost, because I think of your level of success as where I'll be a couple more months down the line.
