I've never been a subscriber to an alcohol ban when out 'gaming'. If you enjoy a drink whilst out socialising in the evenings then do so, alcohol only becomes a crutch when you get so shit-faced that you think its gives you so-called 'dutch courage'.

2-3 drinks is not going to dramatically alter your state perhaps only to serve you in feeling a little more relaxed. I remember Kowalski once saying that alcohol 'is king' in this country, it's part of the make-up of our social custom.

Go out, have fun, be normal, have a couple of drinks, it's all good. Don't feel you need to make sacrifices like that to get better at this. Just be mindful of your alcohol intake that's all, too much and as you know you become a gibbering wreck.

Although having said that, drunk guy meets drunk girl = fun times. I know some guys see this as 'fools mate' But these are gimmies, you'd be a fool to pass them up! I guess it all just depends on what you hope to achieve long-term.

I think that is the problem; I feel like I have to drink in order to bust the AA. Supposing I tried sarging without liquor, then hopefully I will have the same level of success sober, and perhaps 'train' myself out of this way of thinking. Follow?

Met up with her again. Things went really well this time. Had a mint evening and did an excellent bit of physical escalation.

Going to visit her at her place on Friday. Hopefully my escalation will pay off and I will make this a full close.

She has invited me out again, but seems to be reluctant to put herself in a situation where sex might occur.

I am thinking that more comfort building and rapport is called for, but surely if I overdo it I risk the dreaded friend zone.

As Hustler pointed out, this is self-contradictory double-think. You need less routines. Which would also solve the congruence issues you are having.

the issue is... some of these guys are asking for routines because maybe they are not as comfortable with on the spot rapier wit as you or i, so the routines are comfort for them.

Ur best bet is KINO.... learn kino LEARN IT LEARN IT LEARN IT ... instead of conversations... tease them... say DO U NEED A HAIR BRUSH whilst smiling... anythin .. do your damdest to get into a toy fight THIS IS GOLDEN... the routines are guys just selling points for pick up, and all books an shit, but u need to ask yourself real questions that interest you so instead of asking "HI DO YOU FLOSS OR BRUSH"(WTF is that anyway.... ask yourself something about general life you find interesting and say , U know what i was thinking, what do u think about that" because then your conversation will be one u ACTUALLY WANT TO HAVE and not just a lame attempt at getting a convo goin thats boring you... there is no point in doin this PUA thing unless u enjoy it... so learn to enjoy it... u need to learn how to be cocky, and go from there.... coz wat happens when th routines run dry...
