I was out clubbing this Saturday with mi mate and two lasses. We were havin fairly enjoyable time and when we went to smoking spot we were pretty much in the center of attention. Soo aluffa sudden this chick(6-7) comes up to me and opens sayin: Hey i like your accent (I'm Latvian)
I: Thx but is it so distinct?
She: Well i can hear it but i like interesting accents (Obviously looking pretty interested , smiling)
I: (Chuckle a lil and lean near her) I know that girls really dig Russian accent, but mines not that sexy i guess cos i'm Latvian. (?)
She: (still smilin) Nah yours is nice.
I: (Leanin in even closer saying jokingly) You know i really like Pirate accent.
She: Oh like Arr matey shiver mi timbers kind?
I: (Laughing) Exactly! Cant get enough of that theme! :P
So afterward we had a bit of a chatter about living spaces her- Northampton me- Wellinborough n how good was Northampton compared to the latter.
I can't exactly recall why now (was on 3 drinks- a lot judging that drink rarely)
but we shook hands and bet on something... i looked into her eyes again ad asked : So how will I know that u'll keep your part of the bet?
She: Ill come to Wellinborough .
I: Ok but how will I know that your there? I don't have any psychic abilities you know.
(Looked intoo her eyes and did the motion of trying to read her mind, we laughed a bit but situation was getting a bit awkward)
I: (after a small pause) Do you believe in those things..paranormal...divine...
She: (regained some interest) Not quite I believe in scientific matters. I think that the main thing is persons will ... something something something... and what bout u?
I: My belief is in myself..at least it used to be ..but now im...BAM
She goes away.... i guess that her friend who was listening behind us motioned her to go..i didn't turn back..was kinda confused...
Gah... that was lame, i thought afterwards, but than i decided that when she tried to leave i needed to say with a smile something like: Why that's awfully rude of you to leave me when we started such a spirited conversation.... or something... Any advice appreciated.

Hmmm, sounds like you did alot right to be honest mate. A moderately hot chick comes up and hangs off your every word, tries to prove herself to you and shows a lot of interest? You were certainly doing something right.

Maybe a lack of escalation - by the sounds of it there was no stating your interest in her, no flirting or back-and-forth. After the pirate thing I would've said "Oh my life I can't believe you think pirates are like that! I bet you've not even seen Pirates of the Caribbean! It's ok though, you're sexy so I'll let you off" with a light-hearted, jokey air.

If you notice her friend lingering nearby then introduce yourself to the friend a.s.a.p or have the girl introduce you to her friend. The friend is going to get bored very quickly if she's left standing on her own and won't think twice about completely destroying your set to save her from that childish feeling of 'oh my god im standing on my own in a night-club, I can't be seen to not have any friends, oh my god! panic!'.

As far as i'm concerned a 'facebook close' is not a close, it's a polite of way of saying 'fuck off'.

I thank thee Seniors an Juniors and Moderates (:P) for posting your replays and i have to agree... my escalation phase needs huge improvement ... so as not being a boring guynessnessness..
But at least i have understood few things that got me to her attention- 1) I was quite peacocked that day- wearin Hawaii shirt n shiny watch n stuff (not like mi usual self at all) Tho that had an instant negative effect: just as i went into club i was attacked by some fags and it almost ruined the whole deal...just because the night wasn't meant to be like a pickup thing but rather a nice night out with mi friends).
3) Some tiny word exchanges with some other ladies... just bits n bobs tho... but mb helped the social aprovement thingy...
So the conclusion is I need to go out more... and mb get into some house parties? gosh.. so long have i not been in oneeeeeeeeee!!
