went out last night with my 2 wings in Crawley,

Now after 2 previous destroying bad nights in Crawley where we have had problems with sets as they not the cleverest girls in the land, myself and my 2 wings sat down the night before and discussed different options of what we could do to get around the problem, as trust me, its caused problems with the 3 of us, which much frustration, and some crossed words and such

but we where at our wits end so what the fuck lets try it so I watched the VH1 pickup artists, whent over my notes, from 4 months ago and off we went, to what would be the best night out so far...

So we decided to go back to basics, so , canned openers, proper winging, disqualifing ourselves and using Mystery Method...

Now some of you may of remembered I was a complete non liker of MM as I thought it was aimed at Americans who are a lot open than europeans, as Im more of a natural, and would normal walk up, "Hey, your cute, Im Tebbs, you can be my girlfriend for the next five minutes.. blah blah"

So we park the car and head to the cash point, at this pointed I never really used a true canned opener, so I was still completely sure its was going to fail, but fuck it.



Waiting in the queue theres was a black guy behind me about,looked like he hadnt been in the UK for long, so call me crazy I opened and tried it, now I have lots and lots of energy, and went into one, "oh my god did you see the 2 girls down there fighting over the small bloke" etc etc etc

Long story cut short, the story came out lovely, i got my 2 wings involved "hey wing, how old you u think the guy was?" the guy started shouting to his mate to come over, over he comes he gets me to tell him the story, but this time theres a group of guys and girls at the cash point, listening to our story...

It was Ridiculous... we hadn't even got into a bar yet!!! anyways we eject and go to get a drink, walking up the road, we are stunned to how it went...

So in we go to first bar,our warm up bar, theres no sets in there, only about 3 people, dead, but theres a bar maid....

So I open with a mystery method over the shoulder "did you see the flight blah blah" its opens lovely, transitions, blah blah, and I number close her.

We walk out still in shock at MM... my wings tell me Tebbs, that was amazing, absolutely to the book, and she was all over you. It was then I realised i was ON !!! and my wings knew it too..

Second bar, chock full of sets, straight in, first 4 set i see... straight up, same again over the shoulder "did you see the fight" opens transitions, the girls tell me to see them in the club later, IOI

I turn back to my wings, a look at astonishment, on there face, yep Tebbs was ON....

We get some drinks and a table, I open another 2 set, this time I ask my wing if I can eliminate him, I run the jealous girlfriend opener on them,with 110% belief in the story, I get my wing involved by saying it was him, the sets opens lovely, i transition off it and have a 20 minute conversation with them.

Only issue is my 2 wings are at the table in shock and awe at how on fire I am, and fail to see my targets friend getting restless and im struggling after 20 mins, my hands going in my back pocket (our sign for help me mate!!!) They didnt see it, and I have to eject on a high.

Anyways I make my exit, and turn round and low and behold theres another 4 set there, bang open "so Girls , who lies more, Men or Women"...the old classics are making a comeback....Once again the sets opens like a dream and off I go into tebb's land...

Meanwhile, the previous 2 set come back and my wings notice they see me talking to the 4 set and start pointing at me, and smiling and stand right next to me,they fail to somehow tell me, or reopen them for me... come on wings !!!!... it was sorted later and we know for next time...

Im completely oblivious to the 2 set until after I eject, once again with them saying come find us in the club... so thats 6...

we go outside for air, and a wing chat on what happened and how to better it,as my head is absolutely racing.. But Canned does work, in the right situation, if you're a good story teller and IF you can make it interesting...

We then open last one, the glass collecting chick, who is a straight 9... the jealous girl friend opener... and i knock out my wing again, who plays along joins in the story, we transition from it, we got her for about 20 mins,cameras come out, theres huge kino, she mentioning a boyfriend she doesnt like, i run the you can be my girlfriend for the next 5 minutes on her, who lies more,blah blah...

We says dont go anywhere off she goes and gets rid of the glasses and runs back to us, stops doing her job and sits down, she all over me, ridiculous, we can see the boss behind the bar getting pissed off, so an awkward situation, so i quicky number close and away we go, to her saying please come back and see me we are open till 2am your awesome...

Myself and one wing (the other one goes home) then hit the club...

I then switch the game to RSD flawless as the music is quite loud and its impossible to run long opinion openers, and we are back to our same problem, chav club... but I managed a lovely lovely lovely 2 set by the bar and 5 and a 8.5 ....but shes young.. 19 and im 33...

But I run the routines on her, and shes on to me hugely, and the 5 fucks off and leaves her with me at the bar and she stays... IOI

I can see at 19 shes never had a guy running routines on her, I can see shes intrested big time, but I also feel she thinking, (soically conditioned) fuck this guy is older than me and im with my friends, but shes all over me... annoying!!!

she tells me her mum works for BA as an air hostess and she came back from barbados 2 days ago in first class, I reply straight off, "thats cool, I manage private jets for celebrities (which i do ) and came back from Seychelles on a private jet last week" an amazing neg straight off the bat, and ask her when are we going for a date then on the jet.. she says lets go tomorrow...we are all over each other... amazing eye contact and kino

We then have more chit chat, I run the you can be my girl friend for the next 5 minutes routine on her... again huge kino when Im talking in her ear we are rubbing checks.. I should of k closed...as theres huge iows from her..but I can see theres resistance due to age gap... so i pussied out... and it was right by the bar.. and it was so busy,,,it was awkward

I try and number close,, out comes the phone..."so maybe we could hang out sometime" and I hand my phone to her...

her "oh I dont give my number out straight away"..
me "So whats the best way to keep in contact"
her "well ill be here next week"
me "How can I chase you then if I cant contact you"
her "i dont give my number out straight away, i be here next week,come see me"

at this point I realize im flogging a young dead horse, (your opinions on this would be good guys as she was really into me, but there was an age gap and she had pissed her friend off by staying talking to me)

so to end the report my wing and me open a few more sets, we leave early at 1am as we have to work the next day...

A million and one lessons learnt from the night.... epic amazing times....

Opening a lot of sets is always good man, even if it is using canned stuff, but I would work on moving away from 'negs' and all that formulaic MM stuff in the long term. Keep it up though man

Sounds like you had a fun night all in all. If canned openers and routines work for you better then I say use them! But keep experimenting and see....

In reference to the 19 yr old in the FR, sounded like it was going great until you said you 'pussied out' of the k-close, and then it kind of sounded like you were the one doing the chasing and maybe she picked up on that vibe.

Sounds like you had some really cool interactions dude. Im struggling to understand what you mean with the title of your thread though mate 'proved wrong using MM'?

MM definitley does work, as a means of talking to unknown women, gettin #, k, f-closes whatever. The problem that people have with it is that it isnt genuine. As a person you dont grow from using it in the same way you might do from just being yourself. Some people find it manipulative and its turned something which is as basic as just talking to someone you find attractive into somekind of weird formula.

Despite all this, it does work and will serve its purpose of helping a man who struggles talking to women to talk to women. Will it really help them get to the crux of their social and/or psychological problems, absolutley not.

Nothing personal mate, maybe iv missed the point but when i saw the title of the thread i expected to read something else.

I think he is proven wrong as he has been anti MM on here before. Now that he has field tested it, he has found it works like a charm.

nail on the head loke... I always found mystery quite creepy and wierd, and I was always more into RSD Tim....

I can use it to open sets in bars as a means of chit chats, and then transition onto being more natural if that make's sense..
