best word of advice i can think of falls in place with what everyone else has said - don't just copy shit off the forum or copy lines. it comes across as scripter/shit/not you when you talk to people. recently a close friend of mine has tried to copy some of the shit i say/do but my delivery/personality/approach is so different to his that hes come across as a total dick.
