I know what you mean. I think one of the hardest things in PUA is demonstrating higher value without bragging. The only way you can do it is by being slightly dishonest and have a wing come over and sing your praises while you are in the bathroom, or by having certain things lying around your flat that represent your higher value (but by that time, if you have her in your flat already, it's probably not necessary).

In my case, however, the business cards are not so bad. I teach English as a foreign language and live in Sicily, where they really need lessons. They always ask me what I do and I explain that I run my own business teaching English and translating. When they look interested, THEN I give them a card. I have them in two colours, so I ask them which one they prefer and that's the one they keep. Actually, just giving out my cards, I have been added on facebook, quite a lot.

I thought as a direct approach, I could just hand the card to a girl. And when she starts reading out the stuff about lessons, I could just say. "I didn't give it you because I want to teach you English. I gave it to you because I'd like to get to know you." Or if she looks dirty and I want to use "The Philth" approach I could just tell her that I gave it her because, "I want to fuck her until she can't walk straight." Lol

No dude, I doubt that. I think it's just the fact that my job (ie business cards) is related to something that women over here want to do (learn English). I'd hardly be handing them my cards if I were a plumber (unless they wanted some pipe laying of course) lol.

I wouldnt have stayed there, it kills cojones doesnt it when someone else is dominating conversation?! You coulda either tried to move the conversation onto something the two fat guys wouldnt have been able to contribute on much, like male grooming, Or tried for the isolation, asked your target to come help you carry drinks?!

girls have given me business cards. i liked it, but never called them.

didnt really feel as if they were giving me their number, it came across as if they were too scared to outright ask for my number.
