Wow, first time I've seen Phil admit to a weakness.

I'm with you on that though, can't do dance game - never have.
Problem is practice doesn't improve me on dance game like it does pub and bar game.
So.. I figure best way to get better is through developing the principles seperately.

To my mind - the principles of dance game are:
Very direct
Powerful Kino focus
Sexual energy.

So basically I figure one way of getting better at dance game is to practice flash game. Direct openers in your comfortable environment that develop these attributes.

Tony, I do salsa too. It's awesome fun isn't it? I find it's the best excuse to get some comfort-kino and while you're doing it you can usually force an IOI from the next set you plan to open. If only the canterbury salsa bar didn't suck so hard.

Watch some videos of people who can dance, I started on modelling Justin Timberlake.
Always be leading, always be *moving*. Keep the energy high.
Be comfortable with what you are doing.
Lots of kino. Spins and stuff.
Lots of Push-Pull.
Most of all, just go for it, and above all enjoy yourself.

I think that to say that the dancefloor is a trap in its entirety is misleading. Personally myself and my typical wing (monkeybuster) get a comical amount of attention in the places we go because we can hold ourselves on the dancefloor.

The way I see it, is that if you've got a few moves and it's obvious to others that you're fun because you're not afraid to throw a shape or two, that will attract the fun (in this case, more up for it) people to you.

I honestly can't stress enough the number of times where we've marched right into the middle of a dancefloor, started busting what we've got and within 10 minutes we've got a load of women around us - and then it's just a matter of taking your pick of the bunch and going from there.

Ask some of the guys that have come out sarging with us, they'll tell you all about it. Took us under 20 minutes to seal it with a pair on Friday. Simple, if you've got the moves

Friend of mine from back home, that was my wing before I did PU, has been street dancing since he was a kid. He throws some insane moves on the floor, and you can just feel all the girls in the room looking at him.

In a loud club, being able to dance well is a great way to show value Hence why I prefer bars

Learn some salsa and go to clubs where they play salsa music. The music is beautiful and you will see some very sexy girls. Personally I don't really like clubby type music! maybe I'm old fashioned but I like to be able to hear a person when I'm talking to them but some music I hear is ok, just not Techno or garage or kitchen shit lol!

salsa is a definite win. I'v not met a girl that didnt want to either hear about how we accidentally went to a salsa night, and really got into it, or hold hands and dance around with me.

I did salsa for almost two years in London - in the entire group there were probably 3 guys and 40 girls. Puts you very much in demand. Definitely worth a look in my opinion

If your dancing you should be enjoying yourself, I'm not very into opening by trying to dance with someone seems what every other AFC does cause they wont talk to someone.

If a girl shows interest I'll sometimes go with it othertimes I ignore them and just have fun. Maybe its just cause I don't know the dance game but to be honest it doesn't appeal very much.

I used to be the square who said he'd never ever dance, now I can be up early on even if I'm sober just having a good laugh.

Some things I've noticed is you'll usually find interested girls will hover close to you with there backs to you, they're the ones who are quite likely wanting you to engage them. Her friends maybe with her or she maybe on her own but she'll usually not make any eye contact and just hover expecting you to make the move round to her.
