So, here's the story - I'm out Christmas shopping around Bristol, and I need some bath bombs, so I pop into Lush Cosmetics.

Within a few seconds, some girl who worked there (an easy 8) has made a bee-line for me and asked if I needed any help.
To be honest, I didn't, but I decided to let her spend 10 minutes showing me various smelly things and having a bit of a laugh at how awkward women are to buy for and so on.

As we chatting, I noticed that she asked "do you have many women to buy for?", which I took as fishing to see if I was seeing someone - incidentally, I replied with "just my mum" - she asked about my work, and where I go out (as I did in return), all of these things I took as IOI's rather than typical friendly customer service. We got chatting about music (she's an aspiring singer) and I dropped in the fact that I play in a band (which I do) and know the music scene really well (those who know me know that I have crazy good DHV) and she lit up a bit - again, took that as a good sign.

Anyway, just as I'm finishing paying for my smelly's she asks where I'm playing music again next as she'd like to come along, which I tell her, and then there's an awkward moment of silence where I'm to-and-fro in my head as to whether to go for the number close - is she interested or is she just being nice because it's her job and she has to? In a few seconds I decide 'fuck it' and go for the number saying "hey, if you want, I'll gladly take you out and show you some of Bristol's live music scene sometime - you should give me your number and we'll arrange something". And........



...she beams and says "definitely", gives me her number and asks "can I take yours as well?", which I give her.

So, first real concious day-game effort and I got a solid 8 number close - pretty happy about it all in all.

I'll admit though, in that moment of umm'ing and ahh'ing about whether to go for the number, I was pretty nervous. Hands were shaking a little bit when I left the shop, but I also did so on a massive high because I'd taken a risk and it paid off.

I guess what I'm trying to say with this post, is for people nervous about trying day game, that when the opportunity arises - whether planned or 'just happened' (like in this instance) is to go for it - you never know what may happen

Yeah, to be honest, I don't "run game" like most PUA's - I just chat to people and be me. The main thing I've learnt from reading all this PUA material is to just go for the # close - worst thing that can happen is you get a no.

I tried day game for the first time yesterday and it went ok.
My day started with going to a different hairdressers. I noticesd a couple of girls working and hoped i'd get one of them to cut my hair. Thankfully i did, now she wasn't anything to write home about but thought it would be good practice to warm up a little. after fifteen minutes of convo see was into me massively and was giving all the obvious signs. I could have easily got her number but decided to move on.

Anyway, i was in a clothes shop and saw this cute girl working and isolated, perfect!
I asked her opinion on what to buy my mum for xmas, she gave a few tips. I negged her choice slightly. It was time to change the topic and open her up. I came out with a number and now she was 8/9 very cute. I've tried getting my friend into the game stuff for few weeks now but he isn't interested so i thought it was time o show him whats about and was of course jealous at the end.

Next in a perfume shop.
hey im looking for some perfume to buy my sister, nothing to strong and i don't want guys chasing her. I'm protective(small laugh)
After a few mins of trying out perfumes, i realised i was surrounded by people and my nerves completely got the better of me and bottled direct talk.

My point is how do you deal with other people maybe listening on your convo. Its makes me nervous about the conversation and i stop. There were a few occasions yesterday when i saw some really attractive girls but the place was to crowded.

In short you need to stop worrying about what strangers think of you. You can break down this fear by pushing your boundaries more in these situations. Next time, don't stop, talk for 2 minutes longer. These f*ckers don't even know you so they don't care, just as much as you don't care what they are saying to someone else. Focus on the girl in question.
