It was my third language exchange with this girl. I took her to another classy bar and ordered a bottle of water, lol and whatever she was drinking. I've taken her to a different bar each time, which they say creates the feeling that you've known each other a while.

This time I had prepared a good lesson for her and I refused to kiss her until it was finished. (I read in Magic Bullets that you should always kiss the girl at the beginning of the date to set the tone and make sure that you are continuing where you left off the last time. I do not agree with this at all. I like to build up the tension again. It's fun.)

Afterwards, I just presumed she was coming home with me. I walked her to my house without saying anything to her about it. I just kept her talking and laughing, so as not to break state.

We played with my pet rabbit for a while and then I put it away in it's cage, so that it would not upstage me.

Oh LMR, how I love thee. We got so far and then she said that she hadn't slept with anyone in over a year and was afraid about getting pregnant, even though I had condoms. She actually told me that she wanted to wait until she was ready to have children to have sex.

I didn't even have to go into some freeze out "act"; this literally froze me out for real! I had no idea what to respond to that. I just sat up on the bed, looking bewildered.

She asked me if it would be a problem for me. I said, "Errrm, well yeah it is kind of strange. Nobody has ever said that to me before."

I allowed five minutes of awkwardness to pass so that she felt the loss. Then I explained to her that I did not want her to get pregnant just as much as she did not want to (at least not today, I added jokingly) and that it was just as much my responsibility and that she could trust me.

Then she was cool with it and I shagged her.

It took less than six hours of total time spent together (in three English lessons/mini dates) from first meeting to f-close. She is a devout Catholic too.

I have actually found that religious girls are WAY easier than one would think. It stands to reason when you break it down; they are easily convinced.

Actually, Italian Catholics have never paid much attention to the Pope when it comes to birth control. They very rarely have more than one child and teenage/unwanted pregnancies are extremely rare; so much so in fact that the population is in decline.

They don't seem to have any conflicting morals about this. They make an art of hypocrisy.

No, it's not the religion on an individual basis that's an obstacle but the social restrictions in Sicily. I've shagged a couple of hardcore born again Christians before.

The social restrictions here are changing though... it's just not as easy as England. But it's easy enough when you know how.
