As promised.
Last night I go in to see my mate as he just moved there.

Firstly, I live in a small Sussex village.

So THIS is where all the women are!

Basically I am a proper rAFC and am slowly pulling my game together.

Tonight's exercise= Eye contact.

We pretty much stay in one bar all night and it is crawling with hbs nothing below a 7.

AND they check you out.

This cute brunette across the bar glances over I hold eye contact and smile. Go back to talking to my mate. A few minutes later her and her mates are standing/talking to each other right next to us.

I don't open but this happens with about 3 girls (Hb7's)

They glance over, I hold eye contact, smile, they "magically" just happen to move to a spot in the bar close to us. They then probably give you ten minutes to open them and if you don't they're gone (fair enough)

So now I'm thinking
"Do I have to wait for them to glance over"

So I pick an hb8 and look over at her, steady eye contact, neutral.
I do this a few times over a minute or so, after a while she plays with her hair, then glances over (hold, smile)

And then she repositions herself near me!

Bingo! This is like weird jedi shit.

Plusses - improving eye contact

Minuses- didn't open once (sucks)

Why didn't I open after being an opening meister in Crawley on Tuesday?

My excuse to myself was that I was out with my mate who doesn't sarge and who has only recently moved to Clapham (was his first night out there).

Sounds a bit weak though huh?

Still am not going to dwell on it, out tonight in a mixed group in Sussex and will be back in Clapham in a fortnight's time

This is common, because you don;t want to break your state. Its a success barrier, you get so good at opening, all the girls you talk to are giving you great reactions and you don't push it further for fear of rejection, thus breaking your state.

Think about it like this, imagine you go on 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' THere are all these stages where you answer a question you get £1000 then you get to the next level, you get £5000, the next level and you answer correctly you £16,000 until it gets harder and harder. You could go away with more money but its a risk so you settle for what you have. You get it?

In a way its a great achievement to have lots of IOIs from girls, when they are being friendly and not showing any signs of leaving. But you don;t want to mess up attempting to push it further and go for the number or even a makeout! Sounds like the girls were giving you whats known as a Proximity IOI. Girls hardly ever approach guys but when they want to be approached they will position themselves near guys to be opened! I have had this happen a couple of times but luckily i have been aware of this and opened!

You have just put into words my sticking point, it sounds silly but I didn't realise it as a success barrier. But now it's kinda obvious.

I knew about the proximity IOI, but in my mind I was thinking

"don't approach them and fuck it up"

I guess In Crawley I didn't give a fuck about any of the girls so just opened loads, but in Clapham I fancied quite a few.

Question is,

"How do I beat this Sticking point/success barrier"

Any suggestions anyone?
