thanks for the feedback and encouragement man! so what would be a good situation to open. i will push aside moving sets for now, as i'm new. would it just be a group sitting down or standing up. go over there, say "i think your cute, your a michael jackson fan arent you." or whatever lol.
i'm going back out tonight so, i need to do things a bit differently.

i said to a 3 set, " hey, your cute, wheres the best nightclub around here."
she went, "go away" and started touching my coat and saying, " whats with this fake coat" i think i blew myself out at that point dont know whether it would of been on or not, so i walked away. again moving sets!

i know some of the guys say to talk about anything on here, so i've just got my opener and just authentically express myself as they say :P i shouldnt run out of things to say hopefully, but obviously some kino would be good, as things would heat up then right!

another thing man, it just all seemed a bit needy i would say, i know they say through body language and voice tone is what really matters, so how could i portray that? not looking soo needy when opening lol! suppose lean back and not be so into it? hmmm..... any good videos that show you good body language when opening a set?

O.K a lot to go through here and I'm not a pro so I'm sure someone else could give better advice but I'll start with some basics. Ditch the "your cute" opener too much too soon especially in a three set. You should be aiming for a compliant conversation at first, so try and give the vibe that you generally talk to people randomly a lot, best way to do this is push yourself to make small talk and start conversations with people on a day to day basis.

It seems you would probably do better with a canned opener for now, the one I used when I was starting was something like "can you help me with a quick opinion my younger sister is getting a tattoo but I don't want her too, how should I convince her to change her mind?" was a bit lame but I felt confident talking about it and expanding on it and always got a conversation started.

Easiest places to open on a night out in my opinion are at the bar, in the smoking area, people sat at tables, standing around, waiting in queue's.

As for looking needy, this is a bit more complicated and a big subject so I'll let someone else have a crack at answering it.

I seem to be in a similar position to you in both location and pua experience level. I sent you a private message and then saw a link to these posts. I agree completely with what you say about going out on your own. I think it's definitely advantagous to have a wing man for challanging each other, discussing progess/sets, and providing increased levels of social proof. One thing I found that really works when I went out with a wing is to pick sets for each other to approach, because you both set each other a challenge and can compare notes on how you got on afterwards. I live in the Mount Pleasant area and would be up for meeting up sometime. I've got a lot on in the evenings, but if there's anything I should be coserntrating on it's this, as the more time I spend at it, the quicker I'm going to get better.

sorry gunball, i only just realised you messaged me . yeah man, im more than happy to meet up on a friday or saturday if you like. its fun to set each other challenges and all that, it will really be a good enjoyable experience. are you a student ? i've downloaded alot of ebooks and seminar videos, so it be cool to exchange opinions and views and all that.
