Saturday 7th June

One thought..the "game" is not "what do I say to the girl, how do I impress her" with me it is "how do I impress myself...make myself feel good and sexworthy all the time" It's a simple concept, but may take me time to figure this out.

Anyway, we did some Kareoke at the start of the night. There were quite a few of us out at one point (you all know who you are ) I sang Spandau Ballet, the Clash and the Specials (fucking loved it)...it hyped me up a little. Not many girls there. Approached 2 or 3 sets there, nothing significant.

Anyway, most of the guys went on. My wing was waiting for his housemate to sing a song, so I said I would meet him in Pure. So I went solo in Pure for a time.

Basically whilst solo, I was befriending guys and spinning girls on the dance floor. Saying to guys "what are the girls like in here?" then approaching girls, getting hi-5s from them for spinning etc. My state was increasing even more, very rapidly. Anyway, my wing walked in later...and then something clicked for a second...I was excited to see him...then I became a sexworthy pimping mofo for 5 mins!

Grabbed hold of a girl, started to grind her...she stuck her tongue out, I stuck mine in.....booom, full make out for a minute. Man her tongue was so long it nearly choked me. Then I'm not sure what happened, it stopped, I kind of lost her,

I thought..."plenty more makeouts where this came from", but no sir....every girl I tried to spin, approach or even talk to Blew me out!! I had so many blow outs that night it was not even funny!!

So, ups and downs there, but, this weekend, I got a lot of rejection. I need to look at all this with indifference, and in the cold light of day, carry on, approach!

Weds 10th June:

Fairly sparce in terms of interactions. Not helped by the fact that I was not allowed into some places because of the lack of student ID. We had a nice chodeversation though with a set in Norwegian Blu in the printworks..everywhere seemed dead though.

My other wing came later in the evening and we ended up going into Ritz. Bleeding heck, I've never seen a non student place so packed on a Weds in Manchester! Amazing! I will definitely be going there again! But I definitely was not feeling it. Didn't approach once.

On a happy note, my wing got laid that night...happy times

Friday 12th June

Well I found it very difficult to approach anyone at first. (Because of the blowouts I had last weekend?)

My wing (Thanks Anthony) kicked me up the ass and got me to approach. Man I realised just saying "Hi" to someone counts especially at the start of the
night! Anyway, opened an Israeli set it Blu, had an interesting chat.. This little chats with sets I have at the start of the night get me in a pleasant mood. No pressure, just interactions.

Next I winged this Korean set for Anthony for about an hour. I'm not really into asian girls, but the girl I was chatting to was kind of cute, we got on quite well, a little kino, teasing etc.

Anyway we headed off to 5th Avenue. That venue gets better every time I go there! Used the hi-5 opener. We hi-5ed everyone we could, man, woman, bat etc. Anyone who didn't respond, we just laughed at them, and went mental. People had to cooperate in the end..it was awesome.

Next I interacted with this blonde babe. Kind of started really well, lots of kino, up close talking etc. I went for the K-close but only managed a kiss on the lips twice. I should use some push/pull neg type of stuff, because I may be coming across as too needy. The interaction died towards the end.

I opened a Welsh babe outside in the smoking area. We got on well. She gestured for us to come with us inside. I gestured "in a mo", but I never saw her again!

As Lord Tyler durden says "be outcome independant..be indifferent" But fuck me, pick up is fucking difficult. I so fucking wanted to bring a girl back with me last night. I was so frustrated with the whole thing it was untrue, even though I had a better Friday than last Friday.

I think I may have to internalise a few more "routines"...may not do me any harm. I know inner game is more paramount and of course i will work on that. I think I will get more "natural" as time goes on. Remember I haven't really been a "natural". But I need to approach, approach....

Note to Retro: I read your field report about that girl you were upset about. Man the only answer is approach approach approach. I grant it can be fucking difficult, I share your frustration! I want you to keep approaching..if we see each other chode out in field we should sort each other out!

Sat 13th June,

TBH I was fairly wasted, but had a good time anyway. It was Sinstyles birthday so we were wearing and handing out playing cards to people, to get the whole of Manchester to be part of our "pack".

Throughout the night, not many decent interactions. Although on a worthy note, I made friends with one of the bouncers I nearly punched a few weeks ago. I can now get into Walrus (I think). But for interactions this, the Northern quarter was crappish, but I decided I wanted to go to Pure.

Pure is a funny place. There are plently of hot hot women. The hot women when you open them, by the bars and seats are mostly pretty rude and unfriendly. But on the dance floor they seem friendlier(?!) Anyway I was hi-5ing to get my state up. Manage to tease one girl to the point of a K-close. The kiss lasted around 30 secs (my average atm).

My wing says there were many other times I could have K-closed too, but didn't grind/stay in set enough.

So far everytime I've been into Pure, I've K-closed, but I preferred the interactions I had in 5th Avenue yesterday. I wanted to try more of the Push-pull stuff Swype was teaching me!

Anyway, going out on Sunday, so until tmrw, adeos...

Sunday 14th June

I started at Tiger Tiger, hoping kareoke would be there, but no! only private, so gutted! However I opened a girl in a set clearly eyeing me up..(man I know I'm physically attractive to some women!)..the friend in the set was well into me..wanted me to sing to them..as I was solo, it was outside my reality to number close..sad chode...I will do next time!

Well we did some kareoke at the start of the night at lloyds bar..I sang specials and the clash (well, what else would I sing, apart from Ascension). I had some drunk girl grinding me on stage while singing, awesome!

My wing then went home, so I went back to Fallowfield. I saw the Gin bar full of life so I decided to enter, to hear a really cool band. I then spoke to a basist at the bar, a black guy, who worked with the specials!!! Awesome!! We were chatting music. I then come across Paddy, who was solo. I asked him how his night was going, he said he was after ladies..sweet..we were on the same level! He had heard of PU!! I found a wing for the rest of the night!

The night was ending but not many interactions..I know this is lame, but I was in show off mode infront of Paddy. Opening left right and centre. The night was nearly over, so no closes...but, speaking to stangers, kissing strange women on the cheek, and making new guy friends in one night was COMPLETELY out of my reality a few months ago...

Weds 17th June,

Started the night, solo, in the Salisbury, listening to some bad ass music (NIN, Sham 69, Ramones etc). Apparently they have the best Juke Box in the whole of Manc. Got chatting to people, being sociable.

Wondered then to the Love Train at the Ritz, where I met my wing later (Stafford). Got opening sets having fags outside. Some politness, alot of shit tests...so trying to be unreactive (which in itself is a reaction)..so basically almost (but not completely) ignoring the comments. It's a little art, but I'm getting better at it.

Got into the Ritz..met up with Stafford. I spotted this one girl on the dance floor, pushed pulled a bit, but realised I didn't really fancy her so backed out...

I did few more approaches, got really blown out by some. Then I met Jaz! He gave me some pointers, showed me some stuff. One of his points which I totally agree with is that, yeh, we go out to pull ladies, but the number one priority, even more important than approaching, is HAVE FUN!!

Just by having fun INCREASES YOUR VALUE...therefore your attractiveness increases. So when I go out..its about self amusement, hi fiving etc. Anthony is very good at this, one reason why I've seen his progress skyrocket.


Friday 19th June

Met up the Retro "Paul Daniels" Rally and Rudy. Started off chilled as. We went to Lamaars. I opened a set. One thing I've done for weeks now is to Kiss girls on the cheek within a minute of opening them (thanks Kowalski!). For some reason it kind of relaxes everyone, conversation gets more chilled, and I love kissing soft cheeks Got shit tested quite alot by one of the girls, but kind of ignored it (she was the one I fancied!).. I reacted well, but I should have push pulled a little more (it will internalise eventually!).

Opened a couple more sets. Saw Retro open with his magic trick...(awesome little opener). Anyway me and Rudy departed to Jillys. There was unusally a higher quality of girl there this time..to be honest I only went for the music this time! Rudy and Me opened sets outside (smokers). One set I got chatting to...I could tell they were into me.. basically before they went back into the venue, I K-closed one of them...very brief one. It would have been on if I found her a little more attractive, but what the heck..I k-closed again.

Went back into Jillys, opened this fucking awesome pierced girl...and she turned out to be friendly! Then I met a guy from a the time I sarged solo on Monday (didn't have time to put the report up)..Brads a cool dude, I think he likes me because I bought him a drink, and I'm offering him a job! Anyhow, got some major IOIs from this girl... (when they know your name even though you've never spoken to them!)kissed on cheek, chatted, she went back into the venue. Then I spotted piercing girl and her mate. They were both really friendly...chatted kissed on cheek...then Jinxy rings!!!, goes "meet me in Pic gardens!!".. the girls invite back into the venue and tell me to bring my friends, i.e Jinx (imagine Jinx in Jillys, lol)

So went over to Pic gardens, waiting for the Jinxter. In the meantime I pop into burger king, because I fancy opening sets. I spot this sat down set. They're were from the Czeck republic.. Then Jinxy comes over, he tries to bounce all of them back to my House. It nearly happened, but there was the fat one who was a bit grumpy, with me! Jinx used the line "he's a nice guy, only being friendly!" the way he said it disarmed her. I've seen him use this line before on really really agressive girls...it calms them down! I'll use that next time I'm in Pure, because the girls can be REAL bitches there.

Anyway, no extraction...but I'm building more attractiveness, only a matter of time before I extract for an SNL. I just need to keep this momentum up with the opening, kino and k-closes. Then close close close!!

When teaching or advising anyone about Pick-UP (Social Dynamics), you can tell them all the techniques under the sun. It's like telling a learner driver how to drive. If you tell them and even show them how to drive, have they learnt? Of course not! They have to practice themselves and internalise concepts. Same with me, the more I do, the more likely this stuff will sort itself out automatically.
