Was out in Oxford on my own tonight! Yes its bloody scary going out without the security blanket of wings or friends but sometimes your wings may let you down at the last minute which may leave you at a loose end. What do you do then? stay in? No way Pedro! lol

All dressed up looking very sharp with my new haircut I decide to hit a bar, its reasonably busy. Slighlty apprehensive and as I don;t drink I simply had water. Theres a few sets around but I decide to open a 2 set situational asking them what they were celebrating as they had a bucket with wine. Turns out they worked in the legal profession to which I teased them about being Lawyers. My vibe was upbeat and fun, just kept chatting for as long as I could. THe one woman doing most of teh talking owned her own Legal business, asked me what I did (IOI) I tell them that they cna look after me for 10 minutes until i meet my friend but I run out of stuff so pretend to get a text and eject! but still I'm proud of myself for doing that!

I head to a few more bars opening situational, giving compliments, asking for directions on the way and also doing some direct but even though I opened about 10 sets all on my own, I did eject a bit too quick. However I will do better next time.

IN one bar i went to there were quite a few sets but I think I reognised a girl I had opened before so didn;t open her lol! There were 2 guys chatting up a three set of American girls. Possibly could have made up a third with them but would have seemed a bit weird. Im any case I was just observing them and what I noticed was when the girls would laugh the guys would laugh too as if they were mirroring them. It was obvious they had opened them as the girls were asking their names. They were all high energy and having fun so I wouldn;t be surprised if the guys got number clsoes or kiss closes out of it!

Well done sir. You cant really run out of stuff, you'v just got to get them to contribute to the conversation so that you can find more links to pick up on and talk about. But yeah if youre out to do multiple sets you've got to exit in a polite way at some point. If those guys are laughing as an attempt to suck up to the girls its needy, thy can tell its fake and it shows a lack of confidence.
