The ironic thing is: the less you think about game, the more fun you'll have, meaning your game will undoubtedly be better.

It was a good fun night for me as well, although rock clubs are not my usual scenery I really enjoyed the music. I agree with the whole 'have fun' night and don't have any expectations, most of the sets didn't really hook, but still had some friendly chatting.
GG Craigus for your set, I have to agree about that douche orbiter, he was a bit defensive with me as well at some point, but it wasn't much he can do, it was just friendly chat.
Moment of the night, me and Snake Eyes having a friendly chat to this Russel Brand look-a-like (although I noticed per Snake's suggestion he was a bit tanned), and then a fight comes to life in front of us. I don't really get involved in fights so was a bit surprised to see Snake Eyes grabbing one of the guys and disappearing in the other room while the fight was still going on. It was the wrong guy he picked

but it actually gave us the initiative to use the 'fight' opener quite a few times
It was nice to meet Hustler and I agree that it would be good to get to know people without the whole 'pick-up' thing as common ground and feeling the pressure to 'perform'.
