Today I was at the Sunday market, as I walked through the market I spotted this really pretty girl who was giving out flyers, really my type looks wise, so I opened her with "ohh you need to put more effort into your flyering" with a tongue in cheek tone, i was standing with her speaking for at least 10 minutes, made her laugh a couple times etc, but felt myself get nervous and I said a couple of stupid things.

While I was talking to her I was with my little cousin so I don't know if I gave off an immature vibe or something ( I couldn't tell my 15 year old cousin to fuck off). Anyways I ended up finding out that she is at the market for the next couple of weeks giving out flyers and she told me she lived around the corner (ioi)?

In the end I wrote my number on a piece of paper and gave it to her, she seemed a bit hesitant when I handed her my number, and hasn't text me yet (I gave her my number around 2pm its now nearly 10).

I'm thinking that I should of taken her number, but at the end of the day if she isn't interested she isn't interested right? Im also wondering if she doesn't text me would it be creepy to approach her next week? (I already told her im at the market every Sunday)

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Tell the girl you're going to take her number. Pass her your phone and say "Put your number in there". If she does you can text her later and if she doesn't reply back in an hour or two you know she wasn't intrested, simples.

yh but I mean you cant really convert a girl who isn't interested by taking her number and texting her a couple of witty funny texts can you?

If she's not intrested she's not intrested I wouldn't want to convert anyone. I'm a good catch and she doesn't have the sense to see that, well her loss, Next!

The point is if you get her number, you should find out sooner if she's intrested or not. Also you're taking the lead, doing what men do best.

I second markuk on telephone numbers well done for approaching but don't hand your number to her EVER, its weak, its what AFC do and its just too fucking needy.

I don't always get her type her number in some will disagree with this but as far as I'm concerned as long as she gives you her number thats much stronger and it hands the control to you. She's waiting for you to contact not the other way around.

I would disagree in that you can create interest but again as markuk said if she's not interested, she's not interested and if you live in london I don't care how picky you are there will 100's if not 1000's of 'your type'

Thanks guys, I agree with your points and will learn from my mistakes, and yeah your right about there being tons of girls my type in London, i think i need to go out with a few of the guys from the site, would be a laugh.

The thing about giving out your number mate is that girls can't lead, even if she likes you, odd's on she'll procrastinate and talk herself out of it. There are exceptions of course, but in general.
