Right its been a little while since my last extremely popular field report, I'm guessing you guys can still remember, but anyway here's another

Since I've been learning game I've been getting a lot of great responses from girls a few Kcloses (one with a redhead (me = Redhead Fetish!)). I've only been working on the club scene and haven't tried any daygame yet, something i'd like to do. But anyway I digress, this field report comes from last Saturday.

Started night at a pub near me, opened HB8 redhead (drool)
Me: (The old who lies more opener)
Her: Ummm well men cheat more, men lie more
Me: Really.... blah, blah,blah
Then I tell her to introduce me to her friends (HB6 and HB9) they were deep in conversation so got little time with them, but I didn't mind I got to talk to HB8. Then I tried the ol' best friends test, got a positive response, until a friend of mine interrupts
Friend: What was that? Some kind of pick up line?
Me: aside Thanks for the cock block haha
I didn't mind too much as he was impressed that even with my newly shaven head I was actually getting some positive attention.

Then a problem I've been encountering a while creeps up - I get the obvious sense she wants to leave (not because I'm creeping her out but because she doesn't want to spend the whole night talking to one guy :-/). This problem I've had with other sets and my reaction is normally to leave before she does so to seem I'm not that needy guy. Not really sure how to remedy this, possibly I'm showing to much interest in the girl I'm talking to (facing towards her, few negs, spending little time talking to friends). Any advice welcomed

After that we move to quite a loud club. Now I'm not very good at the club game, normally because I feel it pretty weird to strike a conversation with someone on a dancefloor. Only one good response from Blonde HB7 (I think she was HB7, had quite a bit to drink at this point). Same problem again after opener and a LOT of IOIs she wants to go somewhere and I really don't want to follow. Then the tuning point of the evening occurred.

I've opened a fair number of sets, quite a few have been happy to talk and some quite distant (as to be expected). But I've never had a big, obvious blow out. It started when my friend told me to open someone on the dancefloor. As I said I'm not good at dancefloor game but I was pretty tipsy at this point and thought 'Why Not?'.

I opened a three set BH9/10, HB7 and HB6
Me (to HB9/10): I've got to be honest
Her: Yeah?
Me: You're a terrible dancer (smile)
Looking back, might not have been the best of opener as she really didn't respond well. Trying to claw back some dignity I introduced myself to her friends, who were actually quite positive. But then HB9/10 really didn't like me being there. Now if I was sober and in the right state of mind I would have ignored her and warmed up to her friends, maybe saying something like 'Oh my god, is she always this rude?' But unfortunately hindsight now can't help me back then and instead I tried to show I'm not trying to pick you up, I'm just being nice. Looking back it looks very needy and totally the wrong thing to do as she just casted me aside.

However the bad luck didn't end there! After that happened my friend opened the set. Now I know there was no way he was going to get anywhere so I wasn't worried. After a short amount of time he comes back with a huge grin on his face. Turns out the reason (or maybe one of the reasons) why she was so negative to the 'you're a terrible dancer' line was that she had a stroke not too long ago. Although this made me cry with laughter at my own stupidity I did feel insanely guilty. Anyway this totally ruined the rest of the night and I ended up going home early :-(

Any responses, advice, musings on the night would be greatly appreciated

I think neg theory works quiet well in US but in Britain it is not the best attribute in one's game. At least its not a good idea to start a conversation with a neg for sure.

"You're a terrible dancer" isn't a neg.
"You're a terrible dancer - it must your long legs getting out of control" is a neg because it has an embedded compliment (long legs).

negs work fine

saying somone is a terrible dancer is just a plain insult
most people feel self conscious dancing so saying somone is really bad at it is a foolish thing to do
its like saying somone looks fat

these arent negs in the PUA sense its just plain stupid and setting you up for fail.

for example i know im a good dancer but if some chick told me i was terrible it would get my back up instantly

You know you dont have to use negs or canned openers. You coudl just be authentic. I mean do you really care about who lies more? I think on some level most women know that if a guy is approaching them using some kind of pick up opener then they are obviously trying to pick them up. Why make a secret of it? Is there anything you genuinely like about her?her hair? her sense of style? her confidence?

Of course you can still banter with her and say "hey are you ok?" and she may say "yes, I'm jsut dancing?" "oh thank god for that I thought you were having a fit" lol

But if you are going to chat up women its probably better done sober!

I'v been having a similar issue, two things that I have found that seems to work, 1st moving the chick some where else in the bar (like a seating area) so its only me and her or just escalating as far as she'll let me.

Also if your GIVING VALUE she wont mind spending the hole night with you, I always remind myself that.

Good work opening the sets.. I think you need to work on your attraction and closing phases.

For me:

1) Negging is successful if the girl likes you already. Then, she wants to prove herslef to you and thereby increases her attraction for you,

2) I have had far more success at it on my phone and text game.. But that does not mean you can't have fun with it in the clubs as well..

Advise: If you want to make negs as part of your game.. It's a good idea.. But try using it a lot!! To know what works and what does not.. In no time you will be using to get women to chase you.. Believe me..

Nothing wrong with negging but it has to be playful or something that could be mistaken.
Sometimes, I over do it by pointing out a person's teeth in a photo, I'm sure this is a little too far but as long as you use some emoticons in text chat and in live make it obvious your playing, then it's not so bad.

YOu know if the neg is working when she playfully punches you on the arm, she calls you a cheeky bastard, makes a funny face as if to say "oh my god I can;t believe you just said that"

If she pours a pint over you, she tells you to fuck off and she walks off, then you know it didn;t work. Also no need to neg and can't express this enough if she is being nice to you, friendly! Its like punishing for good behaviour.
