The place i.e. Tesco doesn't necessarily give me bad feelings per se, but I know that if I saw her there, I would feel negative feelings. So I have took active steps in avoiding this location, as I know she goes regularly (only lives down road from there). I have plenty other shops to visit. I don't comlpetely avoid it, I just hardly ever go there.

And I agree with Phil, If it feels right to avoid somewhere due to bad emotions or feelings, then do it.. Everyone has bad places, bad memories, some are better at hiding it / coping though

That shouldnt be to hard, the reason we broke up in the first place was the distance between us. So no worries of bumping into her in town. Just the over all feeling of missing her, but since iv done this whole meet up thing I dont think that will be much of a problem for me anymore

I would'nt avoid a place cause my ex hangs out there a lot. She has little or no significance in my life and im not gonna change my way of life cause of her.
