So I go on this "date" last night.

Meet this girl off POF in a pub.

Not a great start as she turns up in a hoodie (which she never takes off), jeans and scruffy trainers. I'm in nice jeans a decent T shirt and shoes.

It goes alright, we chat pretty much until closing.

She's laughing all the time, I'm teasing her and making her defend herself (not physically!). Touching her knee when making a point, lots of eye contact etc etc

So anyway we get up to go, walk out to the car park (she's driven too, despite the pub being in her home town?!)

Anyway, she puts out her hand and shakes mine and then buggers off

Wtf?!


Is this me not being direct enough?

Because I've put it down to us having no spark whatsoever and moving on to one I do want to shag.

Or do I need to make things happen more?

I've got two more "dates" lined up with 2 more girls over the next couple of days

if you didnt fancy her you should ahve just ended the date about 30 mins

try and gauge if she fancies you, even by being really direct
now i`ll ask things like, do i look like my pics etc
if you get the idea shes not into you just terminate the date

Ive been in exactly the same position as you when i first joined this forum
you`ll walk away from a date questioning if there is somthing wrong with you or what you are doing etc
best advice is FORGET IT

for all you know and this happens more often than not
she will have other dates lined up
she will already be shagging some other guy
she will have personal issues
she will have shit going down in her life

you and her on a date is NOT the only factor in the universe as to why she isnt interested in you

stop turning things inward on yourself and just think 'whatever'

I can't meet up with her so send her a text to say so and maybe another time.

We swop thre or four innocuous texts.

I wake up the next morning to find 4 texts from her between 4 and 5am gradually getting more and more shitty with me

Yeah, tbh it wasn't really a arranged "date".

I asked if she wanted to meet up Saturday night, she said she was out with the girls in Crawley but if I was out in the same town with the lads we could meet up (bit like Grease). I said, well we may be out in Crawley or Guildford. Will text if I'm out in Crawley.
