I think it is not a random coincidence that a lot of the guys who have known you the longest and have been close to you throughout your PU journey are all saying the same thing.

You've changed a lot, not necessarilly for the better.

Like many people here I have a lot of affection towards you. You are someone that I want to see succeed.

Just chill for a bit. You want to go out, then sure go out. When you are out with your friends actually be out with your friends. Last time we were out we chatted for a few minutes and you never once made eye-contact with me as you were constantly scanning the venue.

I don't really want to go into detail here about some of the stuff I've seen and how it made me feel. Suffice to say, it was not cool.


Maybe a little in-field footage of yourself will help. It is always enlightening to view yourself from the 3rd person perspective. Your interpretation of your own behaviours as seen from the inside is often a distorted picture. I'd be happy to film a bit and some of the other guys too for compare and contrast purposes.

But joking aside, there have been times where I have been in scanning mode..especially when I see others open and I'm not...like that Friday night 2 weeks ago, when I seemed to have choded out a bit. This response is not necessarily a reply to your post..it's for diary purposes too....

But, however frustrating it is for me (and for you guys to watch lol), it's upward as far as my skill level is concerned. I think at times I don't push the sets enough (as Stafford points out). For instance, I was in one set with a girl at the Ritz..had a little make out, and then I left her...Stafford thought I'd lost the plot! It's weird because sometimes I open sets, and it's on! Other times I open sets, I come across as a miscalibrated dick!

I am coming to realise that my game is better if I shoot the shit with the guys I'm out with before we hit the clubs/bars etc. There are some people I'm more comfortable doing that with than others etc Darood, Jaz, Lloyd where we do speak shit and have a laugh. For the times I act 'uncool', I think it's because a little demon has temporarily taken over my body saying "you're crap Mark" little demon= Ego ...

I was a lot worse when I first started..but Ekhard Tolles stuff has really helped to switch that useless crap in my brain off!! Thank goodness I can see a path I'm going towards and I can see a light at the other end of the tunnel. There are other things I am sorting out in my life right now aswell which will raise me to an even higher level (not necessarily PU).

I reckon this little diary blog will give realistic hope to all the Chodes out there (thats if I shag more), that it is possible to go from Chump to Champ. I'm still kind of average for a guy who has been into game for under a year, so this blog/diary is no way unrealistic! And above all, I am enjoying the process...taking one sarge at a time..

P.S...filming me? I may see my mistakes True! However it would make me cringe so much that I may never approach again!! Any other suggestions?

Lets continue with the fun and frolics of my pick up endeavours. I had been out of action for almost a week, because I'd been ill.

Lay Report...

While feeling sorry for myself (man flu is a bitch), I stumbled upon plenty of fish. This is like a free dating website. Anyway, got chatting to this girl on there, used alot of push pull, cocky funny etc. Number closed her, and arranged a meetup the next day. On the meetup, I chilled, stayed funny, enjoyed myself and kino escalated. From the moment I saw her, grabbed her hand and led! She was in my reality now. I calibrated the kino just right, with leaning back and escalating. I made out with her a few times when we were out. Anyway, led her back to my place and glory times

Next day..

Went out with Sinstyle and Retro. Approach loads of sets. I was well rusty, didn't hook one all night. Had a laugh though, however, worried why my performance had dropped because I hadn't been out for 6 days?

Monday:
Went out with Spoonhead and Jake to opus. Took me time to open, but, hooked one or two sets. No closes though, but started to get more into the swing of things by the end of the night. Had a massive blow out from an old set I number closed months before.

Thursday:
Went to Subspace after improv, eighties night! Went with Steve and Chris. You guys should come, the music is ace, subspace must be one of the best venues in Manc! I was approaching alot more...starting to get back to the old monster self! No closes though..but set the scene for the next night

Friday:

I was feeling it more! Went out with Rudy, Spoon and Steve. Started to open sets....Before I was shooting the shit with Rood and Spoon...having a laugh with the boys really puts you in to state. As I mentioned, the goal of the night was to have fun! Started to open, but calibrated to a chilled woo. Interactions were smoother. We went to Rock World (Jillys)...awesome! Got chatting to the DJ who saw the clash live 8 times! Anyway, opened this stunning lady. We got chatting....I led her around the venue. I kept saying I was hungry (hint hint). Number closed her pretty early on in the interaction anyway. It was on! I got her to buy me two drinks We had a very tiny makeout, but she wanted me to spit out my chewing gum! No way! Anyhow, she was with friends (2 guys!), I kind of lost her. Then she texts me "where are you?"... Then she suggests we go for drinks one day....

This reminds me of the interaction I had in Jillys a few weeks earlier...just couldn't get the pull home! .........man I'm soo nearly there....Anyway, hope this girl won't flake, but, there's many more girls out there...

Once I get the pulls home, I'll be pimpin it man!
