Hiya guys, this will be an on-going report but here are the successes and failures so far.

First night
On my first night back me and my wing(who I'm sure will join here soon) went to Ride2 where we met a table of girls. We n-closed 2 of them and then moved onto Mousetrap and the girls followed. In Mousetrap we opened some more girls, I n-closed some blonde 7, then we moved to Cuba where we hit a sticking point. Music was too loud to open effectively and instead we just danced and chatted and shit.

Second Night
This night went far worse for me, though better for Joe, my wing. I went out to meet Joe having decided not to drink($$$). In the SU he opened some sets (he is a freshers angel) and I tried rather pathetically to get involved. After the SU he went to Revolutions and me and my mate just wondered some other pubs then went home. I get a text later on from Joe, (I'm sure he'll have a good field report on this) saying he went back to a girls flat and k-closed and so when hes finished his liason I meet him at Cuba where we again fail to open many sets and instead just chat.

Third Night
Again meeting Joe in the SU I fail to open many sets while he rounds up the freshers. We leave to C103 and for some reason my mood gets increasingly better. BY the time we reach c103 my non-wing friends are rather drunk and so me and joe find our sets ruined by their entry. We go to the smoking area and open some groups of girls which goes well until my friends return. We go back inside and dance then after an hour so its just me and joe. We go back to the smoking area and open some more, I meet some awesome guy and a cute girl who I get numbers off. After some more dancing I arrange to meet the blonde7 from the first night (never happens because when we leave we just got a taxi instead of walk). We go to Cuba where Joe successfully takes home a girl he met in c103 and I'm left with the guy I met and the girl. Feeling awkward I say I'm leaving but both of them persuade me to stay so I do, we dance, then go back to his flat where we talked about all sorts of stuff. At 6am me and the girl leave and he follows searching for cigarrettes lol, I go home and sleep

Now I plan to have a night off tonight and chillax

So wish I'd gone to uni, I missed out on so much!!!

As we've pretty much had the same week, I thought I'd add my side of things onto this. Before I begin, I believe I have been very lucky this week. I Have Improved my confidence, body language and posture massively, but that doesn't compare to the fact that its Fresher Fortnight, and everyone just wants to talk to everyone.

Monday
To begin things Off, me and my old flat mate (not flake) had gone to Ride 2 to chill out, but also have a quiet meeting place with Flake, So i could actually get a decent up to date tips. I had been shot down big time 2 nights before when I had gotten bored and lazy and used the jealous girl friend opener. it was met with a well practiced response which screamed that she had heard it before and was definitely not interested.

Anyway I opened a big 5 set, who all pretended to be freshers, though not very well. They turned out to be 2nd years. That was good, as I number closed relatively easy. The luck of the night was when my target used to live in the same hose my best friend does now... She found that amazing. I managed to get her to buy (or give) me a drink. It was 2-4-1 in mousetrap, and I gave her 50p for one of her second drink. Re-reading that bit sounds a bit lame, but both me and Flake agreed at the time it was pretty smooth. I'm going to catch up with her soon, as its impossible to avoid anyone in plymouth.

My flat mate however is the biggest AFC's and is one of those mates who kept screwing us over on the wednesday.

Teusday
This was the first day for many fresher's, and my first for being their angel! Ha... Apart from the general opening of every set in the room for freshers, I managed to convince a few 3rd years, one probably a HB 8-9, to come to rev's too. i lost her though by ignoring her too much.. I then opened loads of sets, and IOI's were flying thick and fast. To be honest, i almost felt a little out of my depth. I kiss closed an Italian fresher by asking her to teach me some italian, then slyly asking what kiss was in Italian. I walked her home (as most people genuinely didnt know the way), Asked to use her bathroom quickly, as a cheeky excuse to go up to her room, but meet some LMR. I left it at that and then we hit up Cuba. The place is horrible at the mo. There is no way you can open in there, other than cave manning big time. We called it a night there.

Third Night
Quite possibly our best night in my opinion. To begin with, it was Me and not flake who wasn't feeling up to it at first. Then after some "warm up" dancing in the 'rock room' of C103's we we on the ball. The highlight though was when i was opened, but then took control and perfectly isolated another 3rd year Brunette 8. I number closed her, and we've been texting. Flake suggested cave man, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so I left it hanging there.... i'm doing a bit of cat string with her at the mo, suggesting we should meet up, but I am so busy now. It seems to be working... i'll keep you posted.

I n-closed a fair few other times too, though i fell through on giving out a cheap necklace for someone to look after (though which I had only been given that by C103 for being an angel). I feel it was our best night, purely for the amount of fun we had. We even number closed the most sound fresher guy we've met so far. Having the excess baggage of drunk mates is something we definitely need to work on and ditch.

Cuba was lame as ever, but i did take home the Italian from the night before. She seems into me big style too. its nice, but I've just gotten out of a long term relationship, and it's fresher/university... Though that is another thread entirely, I'm more like a Dog chasing cars.

Now i'm having a well deserved Night off, getting some much needed rest for the weekend and the true fresher's week.
