Default Liverpool v Manchester - 06-03-2010, 04:52 PM

Last night me and the Liverpool lads got to talking, and we thought it'd be nice to visit Manchester sometime in the near future for some PUAction! I said about the Manc community on this forum, and we thought it'd be pretty cool if we came over one evening for you lot to show us round the place, exchange ideas, and to show us what the Manchester guys are capable of!

There's 4 of us - me, Flickster, and then 2 lads who post on a different forum. Three of us are at pretty much the same level, able to open pretty easily but working through our game from there. The fourth lad is a bit more advanced.

So what you reckon guys? Is it time for the Clash of the East Lancs? Tell us where and when would be good, and we'll fix a night to come an say hi.

First up; neither city is in Lancashire anymore. Manchester is in Greater Manchester, Liverpool is in Merseyside.

Geographical pedantry aside, would love to meet you OO. Make it happen. Pay day for me is the 15th. So a weekend after that would be the messiest for me.

Peace,

kowalski

I never claimed that either Liverpool nor Manchester were in East Lancashire. Indeed, I would be most likely burned at the nearest stake were I to suggest that Liverpool has anything to do with Lancashire.

I was, however, referring to the A580 - aka the East Lancs Road, which connects our respective North Western powerhouses, illustrated as follows:

Other than an over-the-top response - I'll set a date with the Liverpool lads and we'll fix summat up our kid (that's the sort of thing you lot say isn't it??)

United play Liverpool on Sunday 21st, so having 4 extra scousers descend on our majestic city the night before shouldn't be too much of a burden for us

Indeed I have recognised this. And it does make me wonder whether 4 scousers coming to Manchester on that particular evening is a good idea or not!

You'll be alright, you're in Manchester.....not Surrey. City fans won't have a problem with you im sure.
