Hi everyone,
My friend recommended 'The Game' to me which I have almost finished reading in just 2 days and I am very intriguedin this 'culture'.
I've always thought I was poor with the opposite sex, but after reading this I've realised I do have some natural game that I didn't realise. I already neg and use the push pull method. My main problem is opening, I am too shy and worry that I am making a fool of myself. I'm 23 years old and fairly shy, average looks and slightly overweight (which I'm working on). I also have a pretty good career for my age (contract manager for a haulage company). I can hold a conversation when I am opened and make a girl laugh, but I am too worried about closing and unless I know it's nailed on I almost always bottle it.
I am hoping that this book has taught me enough to start opening girls and keep them interested in me, and hopefully close.
Another problem I have is one-itis. I know it, my friends know it, but I can never shake myself out of it. So I have decided to follow what I have learnt and change my approach.
I live in Middlesbrough but my next night out will be Manchester next Saturday. I am going to set myself a task of opening 5 sets. Even if I fail at least I am making progress. I figured Manchester will be a good place to start as noone will recognise me which might help my confidence a little.
I will produce a field report and I look forward to getting your adivce.
I have just been given copies of '48 laws of power' and 'magic bullets' if anyone has any other recommendations they are greatly appreciated.
