Default My Name is Flick... - 16-03-2011, 07:52 PM

Hi Chaps,

Name: Flick
Age: 23
Location: Bristol
Occupation: TV freelancer
PUA Experience: score of 5

Just reached page 100 of Neil Strauss and this is the first book I've read that I haven't been able to put down. Never one to call myself socially nervous or retarded, I've learnt alot about talking to women - after picking up the book saturday afternoon, I was invited to a house party and ended up going back a girls house (which hasn't happened in 5 months)... I dont think the 2 were related.

So I'm from Bristol and often go out on Friday's and Saturdays with work mates to the triangle, park street and water front... although it must be said, they don't make the greatest wingmen.

But here is one for the forum... obviously good friendships are forged within PUA groups, BUT what stops you guys from seeing each other as being competition/rivals, particularly if everyone goes for the 9/10's in a sarge... I just don't know how I would feel about Sarging with a bunch of people I met over the internet. Any advice?

Just out of interest do you work at the TV place between Whiteladies and the triangle or the TV place towards the Burger King drive thru on Bath road? Or of course, none of those :P

Im in EXACTLY the same spot as you in regards to wingmen FWIW.

In my opinion, competition is a good thing. It forces everyone to pick up their game and try harder.

Usain Bolt would never have run a 9.6 if there had been no competition as he wouldn't have had to practice that hard. Same theory applies.

End of the day, us Bristol regulars have a rule: Whoever opens the set gets the first pick. Simple. Stops any quabbling. If you want the hottest one of the group, stop sitting there with your thumb in your ass and get in there and open them. Done and done.

Wow! Whats with all the Bristol posts recently! It's like the spring brings out the PUA out in everyone.

Let's arrange a meet up at some point. How about a night next week? I'll open up a post in the Wingman section.

Hey Flick

I'm another new Bristol user.

Seems to be a lot of us in the same boat in regards to wingmen. I need to go out with some guys that push me, the guys I go out with at the min are just happy to hang in a corner and I just end up following them.

Be good to meet all you guys, anyone up for going out on Wed? I've posted in the wingman section.

Could you show them how its done? just a thought...
Although I should say, I tried this recently with a mate who just come out of a LTR and he didn't seem interested. If anything it seemed to make him more anxious.
Anyone got any tips/ideas for helping to get a mate into the game?

I concur with MonkeyBuster. I'm sure we can sort a night to go out and show the noobies what to do. One thing to realise is that MB and I (considering we live together and have sarged together a LOT) is that we have a very different rapport when it comes to gaming than most. Very natural. I'd say it's good to learn off. Just ask Ontario or Si. Those boys both know of our teachings

Let's organise something for mid next week.

Sounds good. Why mid week instead of Friday or Saturday? And in relation to RKi's question, I'm in with the TV lot on bath road.
