Wanting to upgrade the woman quality - ADVISE! -
25-03-2011, 09:45 PM
Evening gentlemen... or should it be 'giggidity'?
My story - about to turn thirty, currently reading Neil Strausses 'The Game' and wanting to upgrade the women in my life.
I've had a fair few sexual encounters and I'm not useless with women - but I'm not as good as I should or could be. Sound familiar?
Of the women that I've had in my life - I'd class ten percent of them worth writing home about. The other 90% were either mediocre at best or bog monsters. I want this to be the other way round.
In the past I used to go out on the pull with a mate who was a top gooser and taught me virtually everything I know. He was a shit hot wingman but a shite friend. Long story...
I now find myself in the situation where most of my so called mates are old before their time or the world's biggest AFCs. The acronym was designed for these guys.
I want to be the best that I can be with women and enjoy myself socially with like minded lads. Unfortunatly I'm surrounded by AFCs...
Once I'm chatting to women I'm good.
I believe I have what is termed 'Approach Anxiety'?
Once that initial opener has gone in I'm running. A mate of mine was a suicide approacher - but it worked well. He'd break the ice and then I'd run with it. Unfortunately this wingman is otherwise engaged in the French Foreign Legion...
So... I'm looking for tips on how to up my game and some decent wingmen to go on patrol with!
Over to you!

When it comes to approaching there's one thing you have to get into your head.
Either approach and gain the possibility of things going somewhere or don't approach and guarantee things will never go anywhere.
Learn to spot when you're making excuses due to this anxiety, things such as "Wrong timing", "She's busy", "I'll have a drink first", "In a minute"... Some guys take hours to work up the courage to do something, just go up to her and say something, ANYTHING. What you say matters not, how you say it however is far more important.
Start reading up on confidence, body language etc etc, those things will take you a long way when it comes to pushing yourself.
Don't fall into the pitfall a lot of other guys fall into, "nice guys finish last" is bullshit, one can both be nice and an alpha male that attracts women, being alpha does NOT mean being a dick - It's the direction too many guys fall down.
Welcome to the forum.
A warning, "The Game" focuses mainly upon Mystery Method which is largely laughed at and ridiculed here because of it's unnatural elements, silly jargon and "indirect" concept. Don't be too turned off by the reaction you might get when you mention or question about various elements as you start reading beyond just the story within the book. Take it as a learning process and don't be disheartened, it takes time to learn all the various methods and why certain ones are favoured over others and so on.

Lets be very specific here don't be the nice guy, nice is for AFC, be the good guy.
GOOD GUY
He presents her with a challenge
He is proud of who he is.
NICE GUY
The nice guy presents no challenge to women whatsoever
The nice guy is apolgetic for who he is and shows no pride.

He's quoting Kezia and I disagree with it. It's more bullshit that implies being a nice guy is wrong.
Replace nice with weak. People need to stop saying being a nice guy is wrong and simply explain the mistake many nice guys make(being weak).
This is exactly what causes so many guys to decide that being a dick is what they ought to do.

Well I don't and she's got big tits
Being a nice guy got me sweet FA, now I can have as much pussy as I want and the best part is becuase I'm not a nice guy It doesn't cost as much. I don't pay for restauarants, I don't buy drinks. If I do buy drinks its in a round and if I eat out we share the bill.
Nice guys are lonely and broke don't be AFC.

You don't have to do any of those things to be nice. They are indeed actions that could be described as nice but they are unnecessary to being a nice person.

—Antonyms
1. unpleasant. 2. unkind. 3. careless. 9. improper.
—Usage note
The semantic history of nice is quite varied, as the etymology and the obsolete senses attest, and any attempt to insist on only one of its present senses as correct will not be in keeping with the facts of actual usage. If any criticism is valid, it might be that the word is used too often and has become a cliché lacking the qualities of precision and intensity that are embodied in many of its synonyms.
Peace,
kowalski
