Does it have adverts after every few songs like Spotify?

No more adds with the premium version

There's only visible ads, un-intrusively positioned at the side of the screen. If you feel like paying they'll take them away too. I don't have a problem with them though.

I can't stand spotify because of the audio ads, fuck that.
Last FM and Jango play stuff you didn't ask for, fuck that.

Grooveshark has more music too. It is user uploaded content so it includes all sorts of obscure shit including unreleased, white label, bootleg and out of print music.

I love music more than sleep, Grooveshark is the opposite of counting sheep.

BBC 6 Music a new joy I've rediscovered.

I've found some bands through lastfm although you need to get through some crap to get to the good stuff.

I shall try this grooveshark you speak of.

Grooveshark is awesome, but if you are looking to expand your audio horizons use it in tandem with this - TuneGlue°

It is a 'relationship explorer'. Basically you tyhpe in some artist you like and it pops out an up-to 11 legged spidergram of other artists they are associated with through collaborations, shared members, etc. Then you can expand each one of them and so on until you have a lattice of connections between loads of artists some you know and love and some you have never heard of.

Pop 'em into Grooveshark and your life gets better.

I've uncovered so much beauty combining these two sites. I'm infatuated with music all over again.

Word Phenom! Pandorda was wicked.

Spotify has a superior interface and more content but Grooveshark is pretty sweet. However, you all need to man the fuck up and rapidshare your albums, torrents and streaming are for noobs.

I'm using corporate kit, so can't do all that because of access restrictions.

Streaming is allowed.

Recently installed the Grooveshark Premium Firefox add-on, which gives you all the premium features of grooveshark for no cost. Infinte music with no ads. Kick-ass!

Premium features include scrobbling. Which I fucking love.

So I asked the developer of Dood's Music Streamer (the android Grooveshark portal I use, which is fucking awesome and everyone should use - https://market.android.com/details?i...d_gs_app&hl=en) to add scrobbling too, among a bunch of other feature requests all of, which he has done.


Scrobbling rules.
Who else here scrobbles their music?
