I'm currently building a basic html website for a friend and i'm trying to find some ready-made code for a half decent image gallery - maybe one with thumbnails, or a scrolling gallery, or slideshow...you get the idea...

Anyway, I suddenly remembered that this site is packed to the rafters with web designers, developers etc. so what better place to find an answer?!

If you're after an image gallery, it's not just HTML you're after, it's PHP.
Check out Coppermine.

Or if you're after something easier to install and use, as Chillem says, Wordpress is a piece of piss. Shove a plugin on and you're almost there.
