Default Living with parents and finding a flatmate - 05-09-2011, 10:10 PM

Hi Guys,

I've finally started to get good at game as most of the interaction usually go well, but the problem which is always on the back of my mind is knowing that I still live with my parents. This makes me self consconsious which I may subconscioly give off, plus causes a huge sticky point, not being able to f-close due to logistics.

I'm thinking off signing up with one of those find a flatmate websites and living with a random person as I dont want to rent a place on my own since thats too expensive.

What are your thoughts on this Idea?
Anyone of you done this?

Pro's and cons to living with your rents mate. Like the amount of money you would save!

Anyway, if you are determined to get out then I would recommend http://www.easyroommate.com. A girlfriend of mine rents her apartment out and has had three roommates of there so far. It isn't totally full of mentalists, as you find someone you click with before you move in with them.

Do it mate! I've lived in a couple of houseshares and apart from 1 knobhead (who was slightly annoying as opposed to anything bad) its been good so far!

That said if you have a mate move in with them.

Or go back to her place!

If you can afford it, living on your own is the shit.

haha ive just got my own pad,i got real lucky with the rent costs 2,keep an eye on places that have been up for a lil while then when they drop the price pounce on it quick!!
Plus Ive got all my flats stuff dirt cheap, freecycle and recycle shops are your friends, ive spent barely anything kitting my place out
If you can get your own flat you can do what you want when you want and you dont have to deal with other peoples shit,if you can do it!!
Otherwise look out for a house share with some fitties living there preferably

Word of advice Alpha save man save as much as you can while you can!!
Like Jaz said above theres pros and cons to living with ur folks, tbh i never ever want to live with my folks again, once your moved out its killer having to move back trust.
I blew every penny ive ever had i regret my terrible money management now,as people around me buy houses as i pay debts back:S

on my wages I couldn't but a hose at all. Remember a house is not an asset it's a liability. It only becomes an asset when you rent it out.
