Default Inner Frame for Flakes - My Mind to Me... - 08-04-2009, 01:31 PM

Hi all.

What do you think, when a woman you like flakes? Or, if after a while, she cuts the relationship short?

At some level, because you wanted the outcome (sex; a relationship; a threesome...), not getting the outcome could lead to disappointment.

Should there be?...

For me, being in a stronger position helps - because at the moment there are a number of options, one option less means one more to explore.

That said, I want to stub out any remaining game-related negativity!!

I wonder how you people think about this.

Disappointment is an aspect of life. People seem to experience it to lesser or greater extents. A friend of mine is genuinely upset if someone flakes; another is indifferent even if close friends of family lets him down.

My Mind to Me a Kingdom Is

I'm sure many people have different opinions on this, but here's mine. 'Next...' Seriously, there's so, so many women out there who gives a toss if ONE is gonna flake/cut the relationship short or whatever.

That's her problem man. It's no big deal. Maybe it was something you did wrong, but don't take it personally, just say 'next', keep improving yourself and carry on.

To quote David X
Quote:
Its not you its her
You cant expect her to have her life as sorted as you. She's probably dealing with a whole load of issues that arent even you related.

Do you want to be the guy that worries because a woman didnt call back or do you want to be the guy that keeps going forward regardless.
As soon as you start coming from a place of abundance then all your problems dissapear. Why worry about an outcome if you know you'll be happy regardless.

Use what ever dissapointment you get a tool to spur you on to the next lesson. Never give up. Never stop. Your on a jouney in life and she can either be at your side while your doing it or she can get off and never a meet a guy like you ever.

It's her choice to do that, its your choice to live a life that has passengers seats to a better existance.

Inspirational stuff fellas - cheers.

With that mentality we plough into the next set – the next opportunity, the next opportunity to learn.

I feel a bit different than the other guys who posted so far.

Every girl is unique. And, therefore, uniquely attractive. So I can't just next a girl in my mind like that. In every case I'll never find another girl like her. In every case the sex we could have had is nothing like the sex any other girl can give me.

Each experience is an adventure. Adventure excites me. I have no idea how things will turn out, nor do I second guess how they will turn out. I revel in the excitement of the unknown.

If my relationship with this girl reaches a sexual crescendo, I revel in the explicit uniqueness of the adventure of it all. If my relationship with this girl crashes out before the sex, I revel in the explicit uniqueness of the adventure of it all. In both cases I live and love the glorious, unique emotions that arise from the unique moment I am experiencing.

I live my real emotional responses, whether happy or sad, pleasure or pain, satisfying or frustrating. I love and relish them all.

Your emotion, your feeling, is yourself trully alive. The essence of adventure is the unknown. If everything ended up the way I wanted it to, there could be no adventure. So I love both outcomes just the same.

There could be no victory, without defeat. They are one and the same.

I don't group together a disparate collection of emotions and deem them negative, then try to eradicate them. Deadening myself, roboticising myself, in the process. I live them all and in doing so I know that I am alive.

Peace

As much as it should be the right thing to do to just say 'Next' and move on , K makes a good point .

Every girl you meet and you connect with is different . This is a great thing because you get to experience them in all their unique glory , they can take you somewhere completely different . So in this respect i think it's alright to be dissapointed if you get a flake because you are missing out on an adventure so to speak .

So while you should be saying 'Next' ! Dont feel guilty or less of a man to feel dissapointed as you are missing out on a new adventure and what is a man if not an explorer in seach of new adventures !

Best cure for a flake ... Go out and find new adventure !

I think Kowalski makes a great point ( as usual :-) ). So yes there are girls where you can say "next" to quite easily as you know nothing about them and have no connection with. If you find someone who you truly connect with and has the same view of the world as you then that becomes very difficult.
