Its only going anti clockwise for me. I can't see how it could seem like it wasn't.

It's only technique in its conjunction with meaningfulness that you get a work of art

That's mad, I looked at it for ages and it only went anti clockwise but if I looked to the side and cencentrated on it in my peripheral vision so it was out of focus I could eventually make it go the other way. Then slowly bring my eyes back to it and it would stay in the clockwise direction but then suddenly turn back again. Wierd.

I'm sure at one point she smiled and winked at me then beckoned me over;-)

Meh, not buying it. You perceive it to spin in a different direction depending on when you first look at it. There is a point in its rotation where it could go "either way".

Not for me.

I've stared at it for ages trying to flick it around, looked, snapped away, looked back. I had it open on my PC at work for a whole day and kept accidentally flicking over to it whilst switching between screens.

It will not go the other way for me. Although I wish that it would.

Peace,

kowalski

Mate I read something on this over at deviant art a few years back. Its an optical illusion. I dont know why you cant catch it so it goes the other way, use the force man.

Hehe, good shit that I've only come across this now.

At first I could see her only spinning clockwise, then something clicked and I could see anticlockwise and after a little staring I figured out the way to make her change directions every half turn. Here's how to do it:
If she's spinning clockwise wait for the moment when her raised leg is at 6, then quickly direct your eyes at 7. She'll change the direction. The other direction: wait until it's at 6, then shift your eyes to 5. She'll change again.

After a while you'll not only be able to switch it every half turn but you'll find it difficult to let her do even one full turn. Just look up then. Yeah, she's got great legs, but her upper body is fucking great too!

Let me know if my method has worked for you.

peace out

Right firstly i should have read all the comments but im lazy. read the first bit and found something crazy that you might wanna try with this.

So i looked at it and it was going clockwise. then i managed to get it to change... cahnging back however was difficult. i reacalled reading something about using ur right eye uses more of your right brain what direction you looked ect so i started experimenting... looking out of one eye, both eyes the other eye ect...

I found i can get it to go either way with a bit of concentration... but the best thing i found was

If you cross your eyes... (create two images) you can have one go one way whilst the other goes the opposite... see if any of you guys can managed that... i suppose its quite mad but i just randomly came up with the idea and managed it...

(i tried this because i read a while back some crazy way to cross your eyes to solve spot the difference puzzles lmao... so i tried it on this intuitively...)

Initially she was turning anti-clockwise the I read the bit of text at the side and when I looked back she was going clockwise. And after a little concentration she was back to anti-clockwise although it is driving me mad as I can't process/understand how she is changing direction when I am staring at her! lol

Oh and like Kowalski, I scored 5 as right brain and 13 as left brain. My head hurts now :-(

It must be simply an Illusion. I went a little deeper and as I can cross my eyes and have the image spin opposite directions that would suggest I am using both sides of my brain, that would either mean that the test doesn't work or has serious flaws or that I'm scitzophrenic (No idea how to spell that btw)...

much love
