Recently, more than ever I have realised that much of the problems that I have had with dating women may come from my need for women to be "up to scratch" both inside and outside. I am not sure whether this is something I have developed due to my father marrying the first women he met, however I have met only enough women that I really like to fit on one hand. The things I look for:

Outside

• Nice bum (small and tight)
• Nice legs
• Pretty face rather than any colour of hair
• I girl I am proud to show my mates (maybe abit shallow, but my mates opinion means alot to me)
• Slim
• Added bonus is nice eyes

Inside

• Adventurous (outdoor activities)
• Banter (fun with text messaging and in person, being light hearted about things)
• Confidence (some1 that is confident with themselves and inderpendant
• Talkative (someone that is willing to express themselves, I cant stand someone that doesn't have anything to say, I will send out hook points)
• Honesty
  

Looking back at that list, I am looking for the holy grail of women, however I find that a lot of these traits are interconnected, especially the inside characteristics.......

This underlying "list", maybe something that is holding me back when I meet someone, sub-consciously trying to find these traits in the women I talk to. Most of these traits are things I have found to like in women that I have liked prior.

Anyone have the same issue or any comments?

My list is similar in a lot of ways, but different in some respects.

I will have fun times with all sorts but only go exclusive for a girl who hits all the marks.

I'm in no rush and neither should you be. I've had girls like this in the past so know they are out there, if rare.

I also ascribe to changeables versus unchangeables. I have a group of qualities I'm looking for that are not changeable (e.g. a specific height range, no children etc.), and then others that are changeable (e.g. a specific weight range, a belief that we landed on the moon etc.). I think it is obvious where I am going with this. To some extent I only really need the unchangeables to be right, as the others can be dealt with. If someone is too far off the mark on the unchangeables, then I wouldn't bother. But people can be polished. I've polished my partners and they've polished me. I actually see it as the duty of loving partners to polish one another.

I have battled down the hatches dont worry. I will explain myself.......that characteristic is something I look for initially as I am walking down the street. Me and my mates go for very similar women. Now say for example, I met a girl and she wasnt someone I initially would introduce but over a period of time I started to like her, then what my mates thought would have less of an effect on me. However as student and a lad, we do want the hottest gf (surely thats only natural?). I think its more to do with pride than anything. But I know for sure the buzz I get from mates coming up to me and saying "Tom that girl you were talking to was sooo hot" is very satisfying. However dont take that comment the wrong way, I dont seek just external gratification its a split of 70% internal 30% external.


Quick Q of Kowlaski: From the rep and following that you have, you sound a very successful guy in the field. Also you sound like a guy that has dated alot of women, do you find that the more you date, the more picky u get? As you have some similarities with myself, do you find these women hard to find? As I have been looking and only found 3 over the last 3 years and they werent perfect but as you said had "changeables"?

Anything below a 7 for me cannot be considered 'Hot Babe'. Of course this is all subjective, a 3 or below is in the realms of 'Horrendous Babe'.

Personally I don't feel any sexual interest for a girl I consider to be less than a 7, no matter what her personality might be like, call me shallow yadda yadda yadda that's just me. Although on the odd occassion when i've been fucked out of my skull on booze i've tried instigating spit-roasts with 5's and 4's....thankfully Nova talks me out of it on the rare occassion I get like that.
