How do I know that you won't be straight off to the bookies the second my five hundred lands on your doormat? Seriously though I appreciate your advice.

Because I don't gamble.

Can't guarantee I won't rinse it on drugs though. This will act as an extra incentive for you to get your groove on sharpish.

Honestly even if I just stole it, it'd be pound for pound as good value as a bootcamp.

Peace,

kowalski

Bootcamps can be good value for money, just make sure you go with someone that is going to teach you something.

There is a bit of an anti pua sentinment on this forum, but if you are utterly new a bootcamp can give you a head start. But there is no magic pill, it all takes time and practice with or without a bootcamp.

Just find yourself a wing, it's no different then spend the money on a makeover & buy some new clothes instead.

I did a bootcamp because I had loads of AA and none of my friends were into pickup, so I was pretty much on my own for the start of things. To be honest no matter who you go with, there's no quick fix. Don't expect to come out a with super powers over the weekend.

There's some decent guys on this forum who will answer all your questions and give you the advise you need anyway.

Does anybody just go out sarging alone? I do, all the time as I have no wings here.

Sometimes I'll go out with a group of friends, but I always split off from them to go on the pull.

They don't really understand what the hell I'm up to, until they see me whizz past with some girl on the back of my scooter.

It can be a challenge though, without a wing.

A guy I know spent £1000s on bootcamps in Vegas. He had top coaching from some of the top guys. He almost got laid on 2 occasions but logistics messed it up. Now you would think after being on these bootcamps he would have improved but unfortunately he did not because all the beliefs that had been instilled in him had evaporated.

I think it can be better to learn on your own, make mistakes but persist as well as learning from advanced guys too who you can meet easily. Now on the other hand my Polish wing went on an RSD bootcamp run by Ozzie who I have heard is a very tough instructor. If you want to piss around using chodey canned openers he will ask you to leave. He basically just said to my friend "just be the party" and another one of his catchphrases is "close"

Bootcamp attendee: "uh I don't have enough comfort"
Ozzy: "close"
Bootcamp attendee: "i've gone blank"
Ozzy: "close"

Bootcamps are only worthwhile if you put into practice what you have learnt straightaway! ON the other forum I'm on they ran free bootcamps and I remember the last one I was on, mainly daygame, I turned into an approach machine. Infact all the guys on my team did really well but whether they continued the success post bootcamp I cannot say!

as ive said before...the best way to learn is to turn off the computer, get out and practice practice practice and practice, the quicker you do that the quicker the sets will become "easier" and open more often and then you will start to to feel better in yourself.

but in order to do this you need to get out of your comfort zone, and yes you going to fuck it up, and yes some are going to walk off and not even pay any attention to you.

but once you start to feel more confident in opening sets (ie you dont give a fuck whether they bomb or not) the more they will be more receptive towards you.

Then you can start trying the next stage of gaining attraction, but it doesnt come over night, no matter what bootcamp you do.

when your a newbie, at minimum you need to be a set opening machine...

Ill take any newbie out with me, ill even cook you dinnr, and let you crash at mine, all for free, but you come out and dont make an effort by at least opening 3 sets, even if its just "excuse me whats the best bar to go to around here "

you wont get asked again, simple as... in short, save you money, switch off the TV, get out and talk to people, because the sooner you realise all the things that are stopping you are all in your head, the quicker you will progress

dont worry theres another six around the corner...
