This is what I have come to discover and realise this year and I am happy with what I have achieved so far. I think we are so much into the PUA mindset when we go out:

1) DLV, DHV.

We get this so much into our heads. Am I giving her too many values? Am I coming in at high values? Do I need to lower her values?

I come to realise that this is all unnecessary if I am an interesting, sociable, presentable, funny, etc person. Increase my own value by being an interesting person who has a lot of things to talk about. Do yourself a favour, make yourself interesting.

Example: if you are having a good time with your fellow PUAs, then that is value is in itself. Girls are attracted to that. And if she notices you having a good time, you have already won part of the battle when you do approach her. You dont need to lower her value. And I am not talking about a girl who is a bitch and full of herself here. If I meet those girls, she isnt worth my time and I wont even bother to hang around her. I move on.

2) Openers

Again if you have a lot of things to talk about, you dont need to arm yourself with stack of openers. Granted, when we first start out, openers are essential, necessary. I used the "dental floss (my 1st ever opener), the fight outside, who lies more, etc" openers. I dont need that now. Now my openers consist of "what you drinking, how do you two know each other, what's the occassion, is this where the party is, etc".

Opener is just as it says to open. Once I open, I have to know what to say. What is interesting about me I can share with her. Use her answers to find out more about her. The key is to listen.
Example: I had an amazing conversation with this HB8/9 last night. My initial opener was:

Legend: What's the occassion?
Nicola: A friend's friend 25th birthday party.
Legend: So you dont even know the birthday guy?
Nicola: I do, we met a few weeks back in Copacabana, the salsa place.
Legend: So you can do salsa then?.......blah blah
(Because I have done salsa before and have lessons in Copacabana, I can talk a bit about Salsa dancing....this is where being interesting comes handy).

We talked for another 30 minutes about her travels, her work, her stalker ex boyfriend etc etc and I was loving every minute of it cos by far she was the hottest girl there...! We kissed, I got her number and we been texting since.

3) Sober, Peackocking, Going Solo

I used to go out thinking I need to open every set, need to impress the PUA guys around me, need to close, need this, tick this box etc. These days, I dont worry with such things anymore. I dont worry if it's better to drink or be sober, do I need to sarge solo. Is peackockng give me better result? I go out with the intention of enjoying myself and thats normally involve having my drinks. I wont wear stupid clothings in the name of peackocking. I dont go solo cos it's the night when I can go out, socialising, drinking and it isnt fun drinking all by myself.

Anyway, I have loads more to say. But Im running out of time. But I guess it is enough for now...!

can we call this place "state things that nobody in the world has ever thought of forum" ?

Also forum rules should state that every other person who posts an introduction has read "rules of the game" and that anything by rsd should be recommended frequently.

My ex's parents live in Farnborough on Pierrefondes Avenue. I still get on well with them. Might go and see them at some point in the summer. We'll sure hook up then. Nice to have people to go out with when Im down there although the place is dead. Where do you go? Bracknell? Basingstoke? Or further afield in London?
