My mum owns a makeup school and my dad is a professional photographer, I know a shit tonne of models both male and female. Never once have I met or been friends with one professing that kind of lifestyle or success.

Most are however naturally very confident and able to connect with women because of the boost having a job like that would give you though. Many of them are pretty good naturals with women but not to that kind of extent.

I think the argument here is that looks and/or the novelty of male model (much like the novelty of being a celeb) makes things easier.

I'm not really all that sure, the models I know keep it on the down low and don't brag about it at all. It's very easy for them to get labelled as arrogant or conceited dicks by women if they over mention it or try to use it as something that should make people swoon for them.

I'm not saying women aren't subject to fantasy. I should clarify though, in answer to your first response, I know two Calvin Klein models, both choose to keep it quiet because in their experience it has a negative effect on the girls they seek to be with. That said, I'm sure it does attract a certain cross section of women, it just happens to not be the cross section that any of the models I know would like to be with. Generally the kind of women who are shallow and conceited themselves.
