Just lately, I've been putting on this silly act of being overly chodey, which opens well, and makes them laugh (well, that's the story I'm sticking with).

I'll do stuff like standing next to them and asking if its cool that I pretend I'm with them, since they are so cool, and I'm clearly not.
Or I'll say something like 'I've been trying to think of a good excuse to come and talk to you girls for like the last 10 mins. Here it is: my name's Craig, what's yours?".
And my fail-safe 'Inbetweeners' bit is basically me taking the piss out of myself and inviting birds to laugh at/with me.

Some might think that's just chodey, end of. But it seems to work for me. The mere fact that I have approached with confidence and demonstrated that I'm a fun guy, and secure enough to laugh at myself, completely negates any truely chodey vibe that I have put across.

Much love,

Craigus
