I've just been out with a couple of friends, not been thinking about pick up, not really using much pick up, but 4 number closes & a kiss close. No real effort involved, I've just been comfortable within myself and having fun, this IS the way forward.

Im gunna start bein more direct & natural too, some of that cheesy american stuff from mystery & style just feels wrong over here (no disrespect to them cos if it werent for them we wouldnt be here, & dont get me wrong a lot of thier stuff is spot on) but there are women i have pulled before & i used every step in mystery method (before i even knew of pick up) & its cool to look back on cos i did it naturally.

Before reading MM no one was opening over the shoulder, approaching at a 45° angle, body rocking, using false time constraints, etc., etc., that would just be weird. There is no way you would have exhibited all those behaviours without reading them first.

Yea but using PUA material at times definitely helps. Especially if you are newbie, it is like riding a bike with side wheels on. Obviously you should get rid of side wheels after some time.

Is there any evidence that training wheels actually help in learning to ride a bicycle? I'm not aware of any. I'm sure they don't have them much in the countries of the world where people cycle the most, so possibly they are superfluous or even retardant to the processes of learning to cycle.

In your analogy there is a human interacting with some inanimate objects that always respond the same way to the same stimulus, in chatting girls a human is interacting with another human.

For these, and other, reasons (though these are sufficient) the analogy is fatally flawed.

they dont help in the actual learning process... they just give a sense of security in "RIDING A BIKE" before you take the leap
