Went out with a girl for 16 months, we split up and then I refused to talk to her for months. She got a new boyfriend, but kept texting me, calling me, etc. But I wouldn't reply.

Eventually after a few months I replied and we had a normal kind of conversation. I have a new girlfriend now too, but it's not going too well, and the ex girlfriend knows that.

We spoke on the phone the other night and she said she still loves me and that she missed me. Also, she told me that she was afraid of being alone. I asked her if that's the reason she went out with her current boyfriend and she said it wasn't the only reason... but it clearly is a big reason.

So basically in a situation where I may try and go back out with her, but who knows.



We planned to meet today, but she couldn't. Here's the conversation.


Her: I'm not coming today, feel really ill. Sorry x
(she mentioned that she was ill the night before so kind of expected it).

Me: no worries

Her: Sorry, I wanted to, but feel bad x

Me: Not a problem

Her: I feel shit, and I've had to go out now, feel like I'm about to be sick.. X

Me: Probably that mcdonalds you ate off the floor

Her: yeah probably, it was nice though x

Me: Ughhh, what tramps have you been hanging out with to get like this?
(don't know if this will work, but trying to imply that she's lower value since our split)

Her: sarah... lol x

Me: Haven't you two made up yet?

Her: lol no, she was slagging me off the other day behind my back, if I hadn't hurt my fingers then I would have knocked her out! x

Me: I don't even wanna know how you hurt your fingers... but I'm betting it involves your bed :|

So clearly she's still into me.. but obviously I want more than talk. Any tips for this situation? Obviously I'll try and progress for another meet up soon.

I had the same thing with my ex wanting me back saying she loves me.I know it will just end up being the same as it was before!!
I still love her but i want to change and move on in my life,she says she does 2.But i know she will be on best behaviour and mean it,but sooner rather than later she will fall back 2 old habits and so will i and ill end up miserable and going nowhere again.
Unless you want to return to your life 16months ago with her,move on or stay friends nothing more.Its for the best even tho it sucks and is hard trust

Move on from both these women.

2)She's lonely
3)Probably some other fucked up emotional reasons
