no i have heard loads of people go on about it.

it is bewildering how every person who reads it swears by it, yet still find time to comment about current affairs of the jeremy kyle show.

It's this kind of thing that's just people making money out of others unhappiness, same as all self-help companies be it PUA, weight-loss, money-making, etc.

It pisses me off when people make big deal out of these small things. It seems like everyone is looking for a secret method of getting washboard abs, sucessful with women, making million, getting 12 inch dick or all of above. Every month you see men's health magazine with front cover " six pack secret revealed".
Like Phil said earlier people wants sucess without working for it. Every idiot wants to be rockstar or football player but do not want to put any effort in that. They are looking for the"secret".

I think all this self help need for improvment really boils down to people are lost, feel lost
way back when everyone was mad on religion and saw it as a source of comfort and motivation and a guide to living their lives -- now with prevailing western logical mentality we all feel lost and alone in the world/universe so people look for the answers , for the meaning of life, happiness just to stop feeling so alone

and that is why books like that are mega best sellers because they preach the answer to loneliness.

the true answer will be revealed when science with quantum physics, religion god, chi, reincarnation all combine with some supreme genius developing the Theory of everything
which is just a matter of time and its all based around energy because thats what EVERYTHING in the universe boils down to

Current thinking is it will all turn out to be information, rather than energy (each generation thinks the universe is made up out of whatever it is obsessed with and currently we are obsessed with information). Also, a theory of everything is not possible.
