So my journey didn't last long - my last fr turned into my gf, which apart from being able to be more social was the main reason I wanted to get involved in the whole PUA scene (having never really having a proper gf).

Everything is going well, the only drawback is she is in London and we see each roughly every 2 weeks.

Now I'm finding myself getting drawn back in, wanting to go out and talk to anyone on a night out and try to attract woman - BUT without cheating (so just # closes).

Just wondering if anyone out there does this or has tried it in the past?

yeah you can get all the numbers you want in a club/bar with no worries of f-closing. they will all flake bcos the next day the girl doesnt remember you. should have spent the night with her, then you could have 'spent the night with her' I thought to myself multiple tiimes.

Do you not think it's a bit harsh to get girls numbers you have no intention of calling? Why do you want to do this? Ego boost?

Firstly, most guys on the board know I am generally against the whole "number close" anyway, but in this instance you actually admit you have no intention of ringing them. So what is the point? You are indeed getting validation from this pathetic task just to boost your own fragile ego, leading on the girls you close, if they like you at all (they probably dont). But more importantly, I would say you ARE indeed cheating.

Unless your "girlfriend" knows about this, you are going behind her back and I would put it you that given the right women you would sleep with her. How would you feel if your girlfriend was doing this?

I defend this community; I always like to think that we promote honesty and authenticity. So when a guy who lives in abundance picks women to commit too. He is loving, honest and FAITHFULL. After all he is confident in his decision making and has selected his mate from millions. That is IF he wants a girlfriend. If not, play the field but do so with honest intent.

Do the right thing, end things with your GF (hardly a proper relationship anyway). And do this thing properly. You have allot to learn.

Interesting because some people play the field just by looking to shag around and get one night stands. Although why just shag them for one night? Seems like people into one night things are just trying to ego boost as well.

Maybe some are, but certianly not all. Maybe they, like myself, just dont want a relationship. What are you promoting? Make a girlfriend of the first girl you shag? That is why so many people are in horrible, resentfull relationships.

Not promoting anything, just saying that it's difficult to actually reveal your agenda sometimes and be honest...that usually comes a few days later.

Speaking of which, I know many people that seemed to want to settle down with and marry the first girl they've been with. I don't really understand what makes people want to get married tbh.

Yes - I haven't really thought this through. I want to be more social with guys and girls, I genuinely wasn't thinking about boosting my ego.

start going out with those numbers you get JUST to have fun, not seduce! That'll make you damn sociable fast, and give you a lot of great new friends to go out with on the weekends!

You might have been subconsciously. I know I've done this and later thought what was that about!?
