have been guilty of saying some of these terms in regular conversations with non-PUA people and then realise what i said and hope that none of them picked up on it.

Today is the beginning of my new life, I am starting over today, All good things are coming to me, I am grateful to be alive.

Just a random quote I heard today

"Terms should be the servants of the theories not the masters"

"Is it wrong for a man to love his guitar?"

"It is if he puts his balls between the strings, and strums himself to ecstasy!"

Using pickup language so others can here you is kinda asking for it. But it has a functional purpose when quietly talking to your wing or when online, it makes it quicker and easier to talk about.

You can know everything there is about picking up girls and not know any of the terms.

I'm not saying don't understand the terms.
My point is that using them in conversation you can in the same amount of time use normal phrases. Instead you get away from the language of the people you want to talk to and into a less expressive acronyms.

Understanding the concepts (not the terminology) and putting them into action is what makes the difference.

Think about some of the terms like 'Day 2', there are already perfectly good terms like 'first date' or 'hook up' available in normal language. There is no need for a new term. The PU community is probably always going to be thought of as a bit weird and cultish, using unnecessary terms like HB and Day 2 make it look even weirder and more cultish.

To echo what Tom was saying: This is all about improving your interpersonal relations and communicaton skills. Using impersonal community terms is the opposite of this.

Peace,

kowalski
