I think text game is just as important as any other type of game.

Thing is, when I text a girl I've recently met, the majority of the time, we both know what's going to happen anyway, so I piss about through text until the meet.

However for those it's uncertain, I usually get the target's number, say cheerio and text her about ten - twenty minutes later saying "Just because you have my number doesn't mean you can text me" or "This is my number, you can contact me between the hours of *x* and *y*" Or something similar to that. It breaks the ice, they know it's a bit of a joke and subconsciously it's kind of Alpha.
